Are we seeing some of the signs of the Revelation 8 prophecy?

I had posted some time ago on the fires of Australia, which were also being called 'apocalyptic' by the news then. The signs of the times were being recognized it seems, even by them.

I don't know about a third of the world exactly, but for sure there have been a great number of fires in the last few years. Australia, Canada, Spain, America, Portugal, Romania and now Hawaii. Fires are getting more intense and more frequent. We have more than our share in Australia, often deliberately lit. It makes the attempts to reduce CO2 look rather pathetic.

This is a sign of the end.

We are told in scripture that Christ is coming back to destroy those who destroy the earth and that is exactly what has been happening for more than 100 years. Here is a link to a video in which the first few seconds of it in which Lyndon Johnson is speaking to a graduating class and speaking about controlling the weather.

Yes .... they are signs indicating He is near ( no doubt) .... at the door .... the depravity of mankind worsening .... the earth wearing out like an old garment. All prophesied and coming upon us like birth pangs .... increasing.

The climate change thing ..... yes it's happening ..... those who believe in God know it's going to happen no matter what actions man may try to take .... those who don't believe in God think they can prevent it (rather egotistical thinking that humans can control the climate imo)

The National Interagency Fire Center statistics show that, as of Aug. 17, 2023, there have been 35,382 fires this year that have burned just over 1.68 million acres. This is significantly below the 10-year average (2013-2022) of 37,808 fires and the average acreage of 4.48 million acres.

Hollywood, you are so correct in understanding what starts the fire of the first trumpet judgement, in that it is a single meteoric event, which will cause a third of the earth to be burned up, as prophesied in Rev. 8:7. Therefore, the fires occurring world wide recently have nothing to do with closing events as many have posted. What you may not be aware of is the physical events that proceed the first trumpet, described in vss. 2-6. I hope you will consider the following. The trumpets judgements begin when Jesus ceases His corporate intercession, of standing between the Fathers wrath toward a sinful planet, of which He has stood since the fall of man. This act of Jesus was demonstrated in the service of the earthly sanctuary before that service came to an end at Christ death. The service took place each morning and evening at the Golden Altar of Incense which stood before the vail separating the Holy from the Most Holy compartment in the sanctuary. Only the priest could perform, the "Daily." A sacrifice of a year old lamb, each morning and evening was made and it's blood placed on it's four horns along with special incense. Which is why the service was called the "Daily." That service represented Christ daily corporate intercession for fallen man. Individual sin offerings were conducted each day as well at the Brazen Altar in the courtyard. So why two types of sin offerings? The "Daily", served corporately for the entire nation of Israel, to keep them from being destroyed while God's presence rested within the Holy of Holy's, above the mercy seat of the arch. This act on the part of God, allowed individuals the time necessary to make their individual sin offerings at the Brazen Alter, before the Day of atonement arrived on the 10th day of the seventh month of their religious calendar. If their individuals sin offerings blood was not deposited on the horns of the Brazen Altar they were to be cut off from the nation.

This service was to teach man, more details about the plan of salvation. Since the fall of man, Jesus has been standing between sinners, and the wrath of the Father corporately, in the hopes that as individuals during our lives we will realize out need of a savior, and if so, transferrer our sins to the heavenly sanctuary, by the blood of Christ, before our death or should we be living to experience the tribulation before the close of the trumpet judgements when probation closes. According to Rev. 2-6, when that service in the Heavenly Sanctuary, of which the earthly sanctuary was just a pattern, comes to it's close that corporate intercession will end, and the Father's judgements will begin with the, "seven trumpet judgements." Since we cannot see into Heaven, how will we know when corporate intercession ends? The Father has predetermined the events of the tribulation, and some of the heavenly events within prophecy He has linked to physical events on earth, so even though we cannot see into heaven we can know the timing of certain events anyway. The end of corporate intercession happens to be one of them. Rev. 8:5 tells us that when the censor at the Golden Alter of Incense in heaven is cast down, the following physical events will occur on earth in the exact chronological order given, "there were voices, and thunderings, and lightnings and an earthquake." Keep in mind these events will be global, not local, for God will put the entire planet on notice that the close of life as we know it today is drawing to a close, and the tribulation will begin. The fact that they will occur in chronological order will give credibility to God and His prophecies.

When individuals understand prophecy correctly we will not be crying wolf wolf, before the actual wolf arrives.

In 2017, how many people you know knew of wwIII already being in progress ?
I did not know it.
After looking it up, I knew it. It was not put in most news.

There is another thread going on about satellite energy weapons here at CF.

I do remember seeing pictures of the fires in Canada that looked to be started and followed a line.

Yes, the use of such weapons from space or from a distance was published as a possibility in California fires as well...
but the simple organizations of men on earth who would do such things on a local level, whether with candles or something else so ordinary and simple,
are likewise present in every country on earth that I know of.
