My niece lives on Maui.
Still no power, but she's finding a way to stay in contact with her family here.
Says they are flying people from Maui to Honolulu, where they are putting up folks in civic buildings that hold 4000 people.

Thank you for your prayers.
My niece has been in Hawaii for several years now.
Only tonite, did I learn that she lives on Maui ... and actually in historic Lahaina, which has pretty much burned down.

But she is safe and apparently not in any immediate danger. For that we are most grateful.
