  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

‘Trump Bucks’ promise wealth for MAGA loyalty. Some lose thousands.

The products are advertised online as a kind of golden ticket that will help propel Trump’s 2024 bid and make the “real patriots” who support him rich when cashed in.

[But it's a scam.]

No evidence suggests the alleged scammers are connected to Trump or his re-election campaign.

Those who buy these items, the ads from Patriots Dynasty, Patriots Future and USA Patriots suggest, will be rewarded when Trump unveils a new monetary system that will turn these products into legal tender worth far more than the purchase price.

Invest in a TRB membership card “issued by Donald Trump,” the ads from Patriots Dynasty, Patriots Future and USA Patriots claim, and the purchaser who spent, say, $99.99 on a “$10,000 Diamond Trump Bucks” bill will be able to cash it in for $10,000 at major banks and retailers like Walmart, Costco and Home Depot.

In AI-generated promotional videos shared on social media and in chat groups, celebrities and politicians, including Trump, appear to endorse the scam.

One 75-year-old Alabama grandmother, who consented to having her picture taken but asked not to be identified by name for fear of internet harassment, told NBC News the message she got from watching the pitches on the internet was that Trump was going to make her rich.

“Now I realize, well, that was stupid,” she said. “But I bought them because I believed President Trump, because he knows all about finance, and he was going to help the real Trump Patriots get rich.”

What's the saying? There's one born every minute?

Anyone dumb enough to fall for this shouldn't be trusted with money in the first place. Zero sympathy.

Love the parenthetical - just surprised Mr. Trump isn't in on it.

Pattern.. NBC news.... we do know the same thing happens with say Clinton and so many others right? Not sure why this is being posted but I like "This isn’t the first time her mother-in-law has fallen prey to a Trump-inspired scam. ". <---this is a lie. Trump had nothing what so ever to do with it.

So hmm does this kind of thing happen to say Apple, Nvidia? China make wow great copies even saying its a Apple phone watch or a Nvidia 4090/4080 graphics card. Now are we mad and upset making posts against Nvidia and Apple? Well haha to say this "No evidence suggests the alleged scammers are connected to Trump or his re-election campaign." (that link). I read today here some (not believers in Jesus Christ) say Trumps team did stuff with Russia even though some guy..hmm who was that he was on the left yet said in front of Congress no one in America did anything with Russia.. what do I know.

Its getting closer to 2024 so this will pick up and its awesome. At 62 I have always seen any kind of press help. Praise God Christ came died for the world..today is the day of salvation.

You might have overlooked the word I have bolded. That said:

>> the message she got from watching the pitches on the internet was that Trump was going to make her rich.

This has everything to do with Donald.

I wouldn't be surprised if he wasn't. It looks like they groups in the OP were advertising heavily on Troth Sential.

"I believed President Trump, because he knows all about finance..."

While I feel sorry for this woman, she clearly doesn't know the man's lack of financial acumen. All of his casinos went bust during the pre-online gambling era where casinos were basically printing money. He's declared bankruptcy multiple times. Trump is a man born on third base who somehow scrambled back to second base.
