No, no, no. That can't be. I've been assured, by members on this board even, that this report is the smoking gun and that the "Biden crime family" is going down! I mean we can all infer for our selves what really happened with the Bidens.

Oh, sure, the first report of the committee for just-asking-questions about the Bidens found no evidence. But what about the seventy-eighth? As was said recently of the Hunter Biden laptop information, which has been floating about in public for three years, this is just getting started.

Washington, DC. May 13, 3704. Rep. Jim Jordan (Republican, Ohio) held a press conference today at the Capitol announcing his latest revelations in the investigation of Hunter Biden's laptop. The 351-term positronically-enhanced skeletal Congressman is that last remaining member of the long extinct Republican party. Mr. Jordan has been pursuing investigations to prevent the election of Joseph Biden to public office for many years. The current holder of that title, Joseph Robinette "Rob" Biden, XXIII, is a first term city councilor and BrainJack shop owner in Scranton, Pennsylvania. Mr. Biden recently announced his reelection bid under the far-right Rasta Party. "I don't get Mr. Jordan's obsession", said Mr. Biden, I was born more than millennium and half after my distant ancestor took that laptop to a repair shop in Delaware. [Ed. note: A "laptop" is an ancient electronic device for communication and information display that was used by placing it on one's thighs to view its display. Laptops became obsolete after Apple invented the mind-brain interface.] The latest revelation from Rep. Jordan is a newly discovered communication extracted from the laptop replica. The original is at the Trump Shrine floating in the breakaway flotilla of condos that goes by the name "Republic of Florida", a state only recognized by North Korea. The newly discovered communication is between Hunter Biden and a business associate in China making a vague promise of a deal. [Ed. note: "China" is the ancient name for EastAsia.] Mr. Jordan's press conference continued for 2 hours as he expounded how the new reveleation made Mr. Biden unqualified to sit on the Scranton city council. The event ended when a question from a Fox News bot set off a 25 minute harangue about the "leftist media" from the cyborg Congressman that only ended when his short-sleeved shirt caught fire from the sparks.

[citation needed] I know you all like to have every prominent Dem be a "Soros puppet", but if you want us to accept a claim that Soros felt "ripped off" it would really help to have a direct quote from Mr. Soros. Otherwise into the circular file with that claim.

It is a very vague claim (one that you made, not I) and there is a vast ocean of claims about Soros to wade through. It is not worth it to look. It is safe to assume wild claims about George Soros are false as so many are.

I think the point being made is that direct claims of fact (Soros claims he was ripped off) require some sort of verification. Otherwise anyone could say anything about anyone at any time to score what they might consider a minor victory in any given debate.

Maybe if you'd said 'I think I read somewhere...' or 'I was told sometime ago...' then we can treat the claim on that basis. An unverifiable anecdote. Reject it. And move on.
