I actually abhor Trump's inability to respect American laws. Mr Trump's abuse of the liberties he has been afforded is reprehensible to many Americans. It would behoove our nation if Mr Trump was finally held accountable for his nefarious behavior.

While this is gross, I doubt it's criminal. This (and Trump's other dangerous and inflammatory comments) is not a situation where 'imminent lawless action' might curtail free speech rights. [IANAL]

Trump posted the link to the article and the picture came along for the ride. Like this:

Donald J. Trump first posted the photo in the OP. You then claimed that the one who reposted his post was slandering him by using the same photo he himself used. How do you justify that?

What is real is that Donald posted the photo in his TS post threatening the NY DA.
You accused the OP of slandering Donald by reposting the very same photo that Donald himself posted. This is what needs justifying.

I think the link is fake news. I do not believe it is true. This all began with the New York Times. They will stop at nothing to undermine Trumps chance at a fair election.

Nope.
The photo is real. There are several photos available that were taken at the same time/event.
It was posted out of context, but that was done by Trump himself.

I accept that Donald May not have intended to post the picture but he defintley would have seen the
picture after posting it and he did not take it down

If I post a link to a video on this topic a picture does come up

Again, NEITHER photo is a "deepfake" nor a Photoshop nor anything other than a stock photo published by a news agency. The two real photos used in the Truth that Donald "Truthed" are not the germane issue. The issue is threat implied by the juxtoposition of the two images and Donald "Truthing" the combined image.
