It's an 8 year old misdemeanor (IF the case is made) AND the Statute of Limitations has run. And Bragg had passed on charging it once before. Nothing political to see here, folks. Maybe Bragg should spend his time removing actual violent criminals off his streets, as the DA, instead of focusing resources on that dangerous and offensive...tweeter.

Hey! there is always hope - right. After seven years of trying they are down to an anonymous source, an attorney who was in prison for lying to congress and tax evasion and an eight year old case based on hearsay from him.

I did not write the article, it is what it is. My point is that he lies consistently and perhaps more importantly he tells some very significant lies, one that remains in my mind is his promise not to leave any American citizens behind in Afghanistan.

Yeah, that's a nonsensical statement, and it doesn't apply to me anyway. Frankly, I do think there's a very good chance that Trump actually believes what he's saying when he spouts mistruths, so they're not technically lies, but that's not really any better. In any case, I look forward to finding out whether Trump's belief that he can drum up some big protests will match up to reality.

I would be surprised if there were any serious protests but this whole thing simply confirms his narrative that he has been treated unfairly and will no doubt result in a significant increase in his supporters. Trump is no doubt enjoying this foolishness immensely as his popularity with the voters increases.
