Epstein's brother shares info from an unreleased info in which Epstein said he ended his friendship with Trump because "he was a crook."

While I agree with the apparent assessment, someone would have to be awfully crooked to be too crooked for Epstein. The link is gone. We just have a brother's word...

I guess Business Insider doesn't hold itself up to the same journalistic standards as CBS News claims to. Did they report on the Hunter Biden laptop?

The only person who could confirm the brother's testimony is Steve Bannon who did the interview and sent Epstein's brother the link.

Obviously Bannon has no interest in making someone look bad who's already doing such an amazing job of doing it himself.

So it's up to the reader to decide whether Trump was crooked enough to make a pedophile/sex trafficker's skin crawl.

I'm neither, but I find it in the realm of possibility. It's just interesting.

No honor among thieves I would suppose.

Although, I'd be inclined to balk at the conclusion that "Trump was too criminal for Epstein".

A pedophile (who's world revolved around money) getting mad because another guy tried to rip him off financially in some way wouldn't constitute the latter being "worse than" the pedophile, at least not the eyes of a sane society. If anything, that says more about the skewed moral priorities of Epstein. (where he thinks someone trying to rip them off financially is worse than flying people out to an island to be with underage girls)

To use a rather extreme example. Hitler despised drinking. If he said "I stopped hanging around Dave because he would get too drunk at parties", absent some other extreme factor, that alone wouldn't be valid justification for the statement "Dave is too much of a degenerate, even for Hitler!" as a means to bash Dave.

I’m more interested in Epstein’s relationship with Steve Bannon. Making a documentary about him before his arrest? That’s a little skeezy.

Do I need to remind some people again that Trump has never been convicted of a crime, there are a lot of people who seem to delight in passing along false rumors.

NO - he stopped "hanging" with Trump when Trump threw him out for creeping young girls -

DONALD Trump banned Jeffrey Epstein from Mar-a-Lago after an incident with an underage girl, a new book confirms.
A lawyer for one of Epstein's victims reveals that, when asked if the pedophile had been "expelled" after "trying to take home a member's 15-year-old daughter," Trump said that "something along those lines happened."

Maybe he didn't like Trump banning him permanently.

Which is completely different actions from another former President:

In recently unsealed court documents involving dead child sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein and his alleged accomplice Ghislaine Maxwell, a woman named Virginia Giuffre, who publicly accused Epstein of sex trafficking, said that she once saw former Democratic President Bill Clinton on Epstein's island with "two young girls" from New York.
In the questioning by lawyer Jack Scarola, Guiffre was asked, "Do you have any recollection of Jeffrey Epstein's specifically telling you that 'Bill Clinton owes me favors?'"
"Yes, I do," Guiffre answered. "It was a laugh though. He would laugh it off. You know, I remember asking Jeffrey what's Bill Clinton doing here [on Epstein's island] kind of thing, and he laughed it off and said well he owes me favors."

Steve Bannon Is Keeping Hours of Footage of Jeffrey Epstein Secret

A new report reveals that Steve Bannon is sitting on tons of video footage of Jeffrey Epstein.

Business Insider revealed Wednesday that Bannon has hours of footage of Epstein from the financier’s homes in Manhattan and Paris before Epstein died in jail in 2019, supposedly as part of a documentary to be called The Monsters: Epstein’s Life Among the Global Elite.

More than five years later, a small teaser trailer of the film from 2021, showing Bannon arguing with Epstein over his treatment of women, is the only part of it that has been released.

Bannon met Epstein in December 2017 after the former stopped working for then-President Trump. During the summer of 2018, Bannon spent a lot of time with Epstein, supposedly for the documentary. But according to associates of the two men, Bannon’s documentary wasn’t serious at all.

These associates told B.I. that the two acted more like friends than adversaries, and Bannon was actually trying to help Epstein with public relations, advising the billionaire on how to handle the legal and journalistic investigations against him. Bannon continued to spend time with Epstein through the next year, when the financier would be arrested on sex-trafficking charges.

This technique is called “getting ahead of the story” (that might definitely break) in three-six weeks.

Epstein's in a league of his own and Trump is unlikely to catch up anytime soon. There's a story about Ron Burkle, Gates and Epstein taking a trip to Africa. They flew on his plane. It's alleged that Burkle was spooked by something that occurred and flew commercial to get out of there. He's no angel either.

I'm curious about how Epstein knew Trump was a crook?

That would require some knowledge of finance. Epstein was a private school teacher when he worked an honest job.

Ever noticed there aren't any perp walk photos of Epstein?

He was a real estate and casino developer. That’s about one step up from Strip Club Owner or Import/Export Business.

He was a real estate and casino developer.

Was he?

I was under the impression his money was something of a mystery.

There we go....he definitely worked as a private school teacher where I believe his crimes were first getting attention.

He definitely owned real estate.

As you can see, he was quite literally given a sprawling mansion for free.

How and when he transitioned from "private school teacher" sexual predator with private school teacher money to guy with hundreds of millions of dollars and multiple estates and an island isn't exactly clear....nor have I seen any news source clarify this transition either.

Obviously, Les was in on the deal....and probably multiple execs at Deutsche Bank (you know, these guys

)....but it isn't clear exactly what Epstein did to "make his millions".

What was the total Clinton flight count?

I recall rumors of it being in the 20s before the flight logs were released.....then after, I don't recall the number, just that it was much higher.

I think the best thing to happen was that both Republicans and Democrats Epstein donated to all gave that money back to the victims.

He was with The Council of Foreign Relations for 15 years. I don't have a number for The Trilateral Commission. But he's listed on the members list in 1995.

Clinton has said he "took a total of four trips," but flight records published by Gawker in 2015 suggest he took more than a dozen flights, the news outlet then reported. A year later, Fox News reported that flight logs showed he took at least 26 trips.

since that's been Trump's M.O., if I were guessing I would tend to think Trump stiffed payment for somthing, somehwere long the way. That wouldn't make Trump worse than Epstein, but it would be "in character" so to speak.
