I know of once case in the NT where that was done by the apostle.

The proof is in 1 Cor 5:1-13 !!

#1 Paul hears of fornication in that assembly .

#2 And in verse 2 , that assembly is PUFFED UP WITH PRIDE .

#3 In verse 3 , Paul judges that person .

#4 Paul does it with the POWER of the Lord Jesus Christ .

#5 In verse 5 , PAUL DELVIVERED that person to SATAN for DEATH of the FLESH , in order that the SPIRIT may be saved in the DAY of the Lord Jesus .

#6 My question to all , what does , maybe saved in the DAY , of the Lord Jesus ?


#7 The rason given is that ROTTEN APPLE will Contaminate the rest of the ASSEMBLY .


#8 Verse 13 , says that God JUDGES the ones outside , And you REMOVE the EVIL one from yourselves .

If you never JUDGE , how will you GOVERN the Universe or JUDGE ANGELS , 1 Cor 6:2 and 3 !!

1 Cor 5:2 they refused to confront him .

In verse 2 , those who refused to confront the sin , were PUFFED UP WITH PRIDE and were saying , to themselves , WHO ARE WE TO JUDGE ??

So the apostle for the GENTILES , turned that son over to SATAN for the DEATH of the flesh , in order that the spirit may be saved in the DAY of the Lord Jesus .

And in verse 7 all assemblies are to CLEANSE OUT the old leaven in all assemblies .
