Deep theology indeed. . .what I notice most of all is his emphasis on the divinity of Jesus, on unbelief and belief as the main issue, on true faith (wheat) and false faith (tares).

The only objection to Jn 3:5 meaning that baptism is necessary for entering the kingdom of God (salvation) is that salvation is not by works, including baptism (Eph 2:8-9).
