An outside firm’s work was never released publicly after researchers uncovered no evidence that the election had been rigged for Joe Biden

Former president Donald Trump’s 2020 campaign commissioned an outside research firm in a bid to prove electoral-fraud claims but never released the findings because the firm disputed many of his theories and could not offer any proof that he was the rightful winner of the election, according to four people familiar with the matter.

About a dozen people at the firm worked on the report, including econometricians, who use statistics to model and predict outcomes, the people said. The work was carried out in the final weeks of 2020, before the Jan. 6 riot of Trump supporters at the U.S. Capitol.

A person familiar with the findings said there were at least a dozen hypotheses that Trump’s team wanted tested.

“None of these were significant enough,” this person said. “Just like any election, there are always errors, omissions and irregularities. It was nowhere close enough to what they wanted to prove, and it actually went in both directions.”

Federal Election Commission filings show the Trump campaign paid East Bay Dispute and Advisory more than $600,000 in the final weeks of 2020.

Update: Post #22 has Washington Post article reporting on a summary of the report they have access to.

After hearing on tape Steve Bannon saying to a boat load of Chinese backers that Trump would announce early that he had won and would suggest that any apparent Biden victory had resulted from fraud. This is not a surprise. Next step, “Just say that the election was corrupt + leave the rest to me and the R. Congressmen,”

Well, as long as the people said it happened, there’s no need to doubt.
Thanks Hammster. Could not have said it better. At 61 before even Obama one would for the most part remember the past but not today. People will make fun of what some on the right said happen in 2020 you know the "deniers". Yet I can picture I can find the videos of so many on the left and the left news Media that did the exact same thing some to this day still "deny". Your head just spins. But praise God for Jesus Christ who came and died for the sin your sin my sin of the world. He loves us so much. I praise GOD for everyone here.. that God pulled you here so you came not even knowing it. That matters most. To always hear He loves you. Yet just hearing will not save you. John 3:16

This will be the smoking gun that shows that Trump (and his advisors) knew that there was no significant voter fraud, certainly not enough to swing the results of the election.

This is not "what some person said". What we are discussing are the results of a study requested by Trump, with results reported to Trump (and others among his top advisors).

I would note that the report results were released to Trump before January 6th.

This reads like evidence posts pushing far right spin should wait to parrot the stuff from official propaganda outlets rather than trying to string together previous talking points into something coherent?

Ah, an unverifiable report from anonymous sources. That my friends is the Washington Post in a nutshell.

I think (I could be mistaken), this is their 50th or 51 "bombshell" that will expose Trump etc., etc.

I predict it will end up on the trash heap with the rest of them.

Curiosity question: Was it anywhere near the $12,000,000 Hillary paid to prove Trump collusion with Russia? Bet she wishes that was kept private - huh?

Well that's not correct. Public records would show that Meadows met with someone from that group and while the details wouldn't necessarily be known.

It's not that Trump isn't getting exposed. It's also not all these things are FALSE.

It's just that everyone is already in a Trump camp: Those who believe he's being terrorized by investigations (and therefore refuse to engage intelligently and rationally with the outcomes of those investigation....case in point, the nonsensical "No collusion" argument) and those who see the results of those investigations as indicative of a fundamental problem with Trump.

Curiosity question: Was it anywhere near the $12,000,000 Hillary paid to prove Trump collusion with Russia? Bet she wishes that was kept private - huh?
Wow. What a word salad of an accusation; none of which (certainly not when taken together) is NEAR factual.

Then how about this: according to discovery given to Dominion by Fox News and filed in a court briefing states that many of the election fraud claims of Sydney Powell (working as a lawyer for Pres. Trump), particularly about Dominion, came from a woman who says she knows these things because, "I've had the strangest dreams since I was a little girl. I was internally decapitated, and yet, I live." She also claims that the wind tells her that she's a ghost, though she doesn't believe it.

I'm not sure why you are complaining about the anonymous sources, in this case. The simple fact is, no group has found any widespread election fraud in the 2020 or 2022 elections. The right wing group working for the Republicans in the Arizona legislature found no fraud; the DoJ, with the investigation being personally overseen by AG Barr, found that there was no widespread fraud. Georgia, run by a Trump supporting Republican Governor and Secretary of State found no widespread fraud, despite the various investigations, recounts, and audits they ordered into the election.

There is no evidence to support claims of a stolen election. We know that Trump, despite paying these groups, has not ever provided evidence for Trump's claims of fraud -- and in fact was told by individuals searching for fraud, such as AG Barr -- that there is no evidence of that fraud. Therefore, "anonymous sources" or not, it follows that this group also found nothing -- or Trump would be crowing about their results in the courts and the media.

As for the Clinton campaign (not Hillary personally), they paid for opposition research -- as all Presidential campaigns do (and pay millions for going into the general election). As was stated, Hillary never paid to "prove Trump collusion with Russia." I will agree that Durham claimed that happened, claimed he would prove it in court, but has never shown the evidence -- instead, it appears that Barr "weaponized" Durham against the Democrats.

Trump said Dominion changed millions of votes, Do you think there is any need to doubt this?
I’ll answer this if you can explain the relevance to my post.

The one who Trump fired years ago?

Nothing else in your post corroborates the anonymous, unverifiable story from WAPO -

Given that Trump colluded with Russia, she was on the right track.

??? Can you give me an example of something that is relevant to your post and explain why it is relevant?
Well, it has nothing to do with whether the election was valid or not.
