My presence will go with you, and I will give you rest.

As we embark on a new year, nothing can be more reassuring than the Presence of God with us. The new year will herald new opportunities and new challenges. It may be exciting, thrilling, mundane, or downright dangerous. But in all that, the indwelling Presence of God grants us the serenity, power, and grace to face the new year.

Imo knowing that God's presence is with you is Faith awareness. One is assured of the hope that is within. Knowing He will never leave nor forsake.

Silence by itself is nothing but silence. Distraction is your worst enemy, but what's the goal? Could you elaborate on how you enter into the presence of God and what happens after? Thanks.

The problem is that I can't communicate it for you. I can't walk your path, nor can you walk my path. I could be wrong for all you know, and the only way to be sure if I am right is to go deep into it for yourself.

For me it remining myself of the presence, being mindful of it and less distracted with other things.

Good question, because sometimes silence just feels lonely. And sometimes it is like God is hugging me.

What do you mean allow? Everything God does is because of what Christ accomplished on the cross. Besides that, it is He who wants sweet fellowship with us, not the other way around. Since 2014, I began to sense a presence in my bedroom that was sweet as honey, therefore I yielded to the Lord and entered into His presence. I sense an aura around me that told me He wanted to be with me. Every believer is entitled to enter into His presence. Remember Rev. 3:20 where God takes the initiative, but the response is ours. However, if there is sin in your life, He wants you to deal with it first.

I said yes to Him, and there I am in the presence of God every night telling Him all kinds of things, but most importantly, He wants me to be silent to that He can speak to my spirit.
