Are Best Days Ahead ?

This is what we call a double whammy. Is this true - are the best days ahead of us?
Also is this encouragement or just designed for people that have itchy ears?

First of all, let me address the issue: are the best days ahead of us. In a way yes, we grow closer to God and He gives me more strength. Like marriage, the longer you are with someone, the more you love them. We are stronger because we need more strength as getting older brings with it health issues. We do not always live right the way we should.

So is life getting better, or do we just have more strength and endurance to deal with life getting more difficult? I am listening to a Joni Erickson Toda on youtube. She has been in a wheelchair for a long time. Like me, she is in her 70's. She is very powerful, she opened for Billy Graham. She is also very humble. Still, she has a testimony because her life is difficult, yet she has the strength from God to endure what she has to overcome on a daily basis. Is her life getting better? Is she getting stronger. Someone must know.

Certainly in heaven we can look forward to having a pefect body and living in a pefect world.

But here and now, I see nothing in the bible that promises that.

We in the best days now.

I learned recently that only 10% of the worlds population lives in destitution and hunger.
This has never happened in the history of the world.

Can things get worse? You know they can. Can they get better? That's depends on
how we as a society respond to God's will. Currently, we're not responding, but
rejecting and making morality relevant to the individual, rather than to God's commandments.

There are noted in Scripture other times all of people present in the assembly of believers were healthy, had all they wanted/or needed/ to eat, and any need if one came up was met.

I do not see Joni walking with a spring in her step. I do not see her walking at all. Although there are people who believe if one person can be healthy, anyone can manifest good health. God is no respecter of people and treats everyone on an equal basis.

God impressed upon me many times. Maybe 15 times that He is a God of absolutely perfect, precise, and exact Justice. Just as the universe is accurate and precise.

The Bible does talk about a remnant. I think a remnant is willing to be holy and sanctified before God so they can be used by Him. Many are called but few are chosen. Still, the Bible talks about how 1/3 will be saved.

Zechariah 13 8 And in all the land, declares the LORD, two-thirds will be cut off and perish, but a third will be left in it. 9 This third I will bring through the fire; I will refine them like silver and test them like gold. They will call on My name, and I will answer them. I will say, ‘They are My people,’ and they will say, ‘The LORD is our God.’”

That is a promise given to Israel which many people take to apply to Christians today.

Unfortunately they assume it only applies to our material prosperity and pay no attention to Gods ultimate aim, which is to bring us to be with him in heaven.

Take a hard look at the lives of Christians in north Korea and apply this verse to their lives.
Then think about applying what you've learnt to your life.

Apply what? WE do not work our way into Heaven. Salvation is a free gift, so no one can boast. (Ephesians 2:9)

Israel has a pretty good anti ballistic missile system. It was tested and proven during operation dessert storm. (Gulf War) I have a brother in law that works for the American embassy in Iraq.
