I grew up in a Christian home but as a teenager I scoffed at my parents for being Christians. But then when I was 18, I did something dumb where I died and God showed me Judgement day (I may expand on this later). Now this could have been a vision or I could have died, either way, I am now 45 and I am still going strong in my faith (I love God with all my heart). So it had the desired effect. My heart is for God.

I am now married with 5 kids who are all in their teenage years and all of them have a good relationship with God.

Although I have been a Christian for 27 years, I would not class myself as a person who knows a lot (I do read my bible but I am not an academic). I went to Bible School for one year and then left due to life circumstances. I am also in a Church that repeats a lot of it's teachings and so I am by no means a theologian.

The reason I have joined this forum is because I have been taught certain things that I personally do not know if they are correct. So I plan to first search to see if I can find the answers on here, and if not, I will then ask. These topics range from, "Are the 10 Commandments more important than the other Laws" to stuff like the Rapture teaching. So a wide variety of stuff.

Welcome! The law of love surpasses the Torah and the rapture is not doctrine but a way to explain the last day of the Lord to those who were worried about their loved ones who pass away.
Blessings.

Welcome !!!

Good job with your kids….I am always blessed to hear that.

I think you will find most of the answers here…. but you will find that most subjects have conflicting opinions.
Follow the truth that is written in the Word of God …and your heart…the spirit inside will guide you.
