I use the Book of Common Prayer for praying the psalms and reading the scriptures. I personally do not see anything wrong with it, and I think it has beautiful prayers. I do not agree entirely with Anglican or Episcopalian theology.

What do you think?

I honestly dont know, but why not pray the divine office instead just to be on the safe side? If you observe some (or all) of the hours you'll join the monasteries in prayer across the globe. That's a mighty powerful thought to entertain, at least in my mind.

The psalms are psalms, and provided they haven't been changed to suit the denomination, I'd imagine they'd be the same no matter what source you're using. Good literature is good literature, no matter who wrote it.

Likewise prayers are prayers, and unless there's some sort of error in a particular prayer, I can't see an issue.

You seem to be aware of theological differences between the Catholic and Anglican churches, so I don't think you're in much danger of falling into error.

I don't think you need to. The Book of Divine Worship was developed from that but it has the Vatican's Imprimatur because they went through it and adjusted it as-needed to make sure it conformed to Church teaching.
