I’m a retired health care provider. I’ve got one very specific prediction related thereto:

By 2041, health insurance will finally be separated from employment. There will be some type of hybrid single-payer coverage based on the Medicare model. (The single-payer doesn’t have to be nationalized. I’d prefer it to be regional, established and managed by groups of contiguous states.) Our current hodge-podge of employer group coverage, individual policies, Medicare/Medicaid, and voluntary medical expense-sharing plans—among others—is an obsolete relic of the last century that’s overly expensive, inefficient and can’t control costs. The impetus for health insurance reform will come from the business world. 50% of us still get coverage from our jobs. But the time is coming when employers will insist that the health benefits monkey be taken off their backs.

That is not democracy. The system will always be affected by our choices. THAT is the point of democracy.
You miss the point. The system gives you the choices and you chose. It's like when the Fed gives a President a couple of options for a leader. It matters little to them which the Prez picks.

By 2025 ... I'll stick my neck out further than you and guess 2025.

I think so because the public has become increasingly aware of how ludicrous our present health insurance system is, and although votes don't do much, the public will take direct action

by joining sensibly priced schemes like one medical for example which provides all primary care needs for one person for $199 a year. Free enterprise can break through monopolies just as effectively as the governments in other countries do.

And for hospital work many people go to other countries.

If the 'left' wants more government involvement then they are barking up the wrong tree because our government is run by the lobbyists which means it works to boost profits made by private industries - our government is run by the right.

What is the point of a choice if it means nothing? That's not a democracy. That is a play in which you are an actor. It's not reality.

Exactly but obviously sheeple aren't wise enough to see it that way. But it is obvious to those who control them and maintain power over them.
