The Stand: Day Eight

Luke 21:36 Watch therefore, and pray always that you may be counted worthy to
escape all these things that will come to pass, and to stand before the Son of Man.

Exodus 14:13 And Moses said to the people, Do not be afraid. Stand still, and see the salvation of the Lord, which He will accomplish for you today. For the Egyptians whom you see today, you shall see again no more forever.

Romans 14:
4 Who are you to judge another’s servant? To his own master he stands or falls.
Indeed, he will be made to stand, for God is able to make him stand.
10 But why do you judge your brother? Or why do you show contempt for your brother?
For we shall all stand before the judgment seat of Christ.

Psalm 1:
5 Therefore the ungodly shall not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation
of the righteous.
6 For the Lord knows the way of the righteous, but the way of the ungodly shall perish.

Acts 26:
6 And now I stand and am judged for the hope of the promise made by God to our fathers.

Who is My adversary? Let him come near Me.

Ezekiel 13:5 You have not gone up into the gaps to build a wall for the house of Israel
to stand in battle on the day of the Lord.

Ezekiel 22:30 So I sought for a man among them who would make a wall, and stand
in the gap before Me on behalf of the land, that I should not destroy it; but I found no one.

Mark 11:25 And whenever you stand praying, if you have anything against anyone,
forgive him, that your Father in heaven may also forgive you your trespasses.

Psalm 134:

STAND FAST!

1 Corinthians 16:13 Watch, stand fast in the faith, be brave, be strong.
14 Let all that you do be done with love.

Galatians 5:1 Stand fast therefore in the liberty by which Christ has made us free,
and do not be entangled again with a yoke of bondage.

Philippians 1:27 Only let your conduct be worthy of the gospel of Christ, so that whether
I come and see you or am absent, I may hear of your affairs, that you stand fast in one spirit,
with one mind striving together for the faith of the gospel,

Philippians 4:1 Therefore, my beloved and longed-for brethren, my joy and crown,

Stand Like Elijah!
1 Kings 17:1 And Elijah the Tishbite, of the inhabitants of Gilead, said to Ahab, As the Lord
God of Israel lives, before whom I stand, there shall not be dew nor rain these years, except
at my word.

1 Kings 19:
11 Then He said, Go out, and stand on the mountain before the Lord. And behold, the Lord
passed by, and a great and strong wind tore into the mountains and broke the rocks in pieces
before the Lord, but the Lord was not in the wind; and after the wind an earthquake, but the
Lord was not in the earthquake;
12 and after the earthquake a fire, but the Lord was not in the fire; and after the fire.....
a still small voice.

James 5:
16 Confess your trespasses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed.
The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much.
17 Elijah was a man with a nature like ours, and he prayed earnestly that it would not rain;
and it did not rain on the land for three years and six months.
18 And he prayed again, and the heaven gave rain, and the earth produced its fruit.

Faithfulness of the sons of Zadok rewarded

Ezekiel 44:
15 But the priests, the Levites, the sons of Zadok, who kept charge of My sanctuary
when the children of Israel went astray from Me, they shall come near Me to minister
to Me; and they shall stand before Me to offer to Me the fat and the blood, says the Lord God.
16 They shall enter My sanctuary, and they shall come near My table to minister to Me, and
they shall keep My charge.
23 And they shall teach My people the difference between the holy and the unholy, and cause
them to discern between the unclean and the clean.
24 In controversy they shall stand as judges, and judge it according to My judgments.
They shall keep My laws and My statutes in all My appointed meetings, and they shall hallow
My Sabbaths.
