In a recent word study posted in Christian Scriptures, the word anav [H6035]
is found to be translated many ways: humble, oppressed, afflicted, meek.

Blessed With The Oppressed
Moses is described as being anav in
Numbers 12:
1 Then Miriam and Aaron spoke against Moses because of the Ethiopian woman
whom he had married; for he had married an Ethiopian woman.
2 So they said, Has the Lord indeed spoken only through Moses? Has He not spoken
through us also? And the Lord heard it.
3 Now the man Moses was very humble, more than all men who were on the face
of the earth.

We see anav translated meek here. Now consider the context; he is being opposed
by his own brother and sister over his decision to marry an Ethiopian woman!
So the question becomes was Moses oppressed and afflicted?

Exodus 16:2 Then the whole congregation of the children of Israel complained
against Moses and Aaron in the wilderness.
Exodus 17:
2 Therefore the people contended with Moses, and said, Give us water,
that we may drink.
So Moses said to them, Why do you contend with me? Why do you tempt the Lord?
3 And the people thirsted there for water, and the people complained against Moses,
and said, Why is it you have brought us up out of Egypt, to kill us and our children and
our livestock with thirst?
4 So Moses cried out to the Lord, saying, What shall I do with these people?
They are almost ready to stone me!

Exodus 18:
13 And so it was, on the next day, that Moses sat to judge the people; and the people
stood before Moses from morning until evening.
14 So when Moses’ father-in-law saw all that he did for the people, he said, What is this
thing that you are doing for the people? Why do you alone sit, and all the people stand
before you from morning until evening?
15 And Moses said to his father-in-law, Because the people come to me to inquire of God.
16 When they have a difficulty, they come to me, and I judge between one and another;
and I make known the statutes of God and His Laws.
17 So Moses’ father-in-law said to him, The thing that you do is not good.
18 Both you and these people who are with you will surely wear yourselves out.
For this thing is too much for you; you are not able to perform it by yourself.

So shall it be for anyone who enters into ministry under an anointing of the Holy Spirit.
2 Corinthians 7:5 For indeed, when we came to Macedonia, our bodies had no rest,

but we were troubled on every side. Outside were conflicts, inside were fears.

Which he described in great detail in a previous chapter:
2 Corinthians 4:

8 We are hard-pressed on every side, yet not crushed; we are perplexed,
but not in despair;
9 persecuted, but not forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed—
10 always carrying about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life
of Jesus also may be manifested in our body.
11 For we who live are always delivered to death for Jesus’ sake,
that the life of Jesus also may be manifested in our mortal flesh.

This comes forth with ministry in and of the Holy Spirit.

2 Corinthians 1:
3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies
and God of all comfort,
4 who comforts us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort those who
are in any trouble, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God.
5 For as the sufferings of Christ abound in us, so our consolation also abounds
through Christ.
6 Now if we are afflicted, it is for your consolation and salvation, which is effective
for enduring the same sufferings which we also suffer. Or if we are comforted,
it is for your consolation and salvation.
7 And our hope for you is steadfast, because we know that as you are
partakers of the sufferings, so also you will partake of the consolation.

Acts 14:22 -strengthening the souls of the disciples, exhorting them to continue in the faith,
and saying, "We must through many tribulations enter the kingdom of God".

2 Timothy 3:12 Yes, and all who desire to live godly in Christ Jesus will suffer persecution.
