The Measure Of Christ

Deuteronomy 25:
15 You shall have a perfect and just weight, a perfect and just measure, that your
days may be lengthened in the land which the Lord your God is giving you.
16 For all who do such things, all who behave unrighteously, are an abomination
to the Lord your God.

If unjust business practices are an abomination to the Lord, how much more
unrighteous behavior among the saints?
John 3:12 If I have told you earthly things and you do not believe, how will you
believe if I tell you heavenly things?

For a congregation to function as a mature body of Christ, they must be
established by The Holy Spirit in the Gifts of God’s Grace
Ephesians 4:7 But to each one of us grace was given according to the
measure of Christ’s gift.

The Congregation can only rightly serve Christ and one other by
their measure of Faith
Romans 12:3 For I say, through the grace given to me, to everyone who is among you,
not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think, but to think soberly, as God
has dealt to each one a measure of faith.

1 Corinthians 12:7 But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to each one for
the profit of all:

The Congregation has unlimited spiritual resources in Christ
John 3:34 For He whom God has sent speaks the words of God, for God does not
give the Spirit by measure.

Give to Receive, Sow to Reap, The Lord brings the Increase
Luke 6:38 Give, and it will be given to you: good measure, pressed down, shaken
together, and running over will be put into your bosom. For with the same measure
that you use, it will be measured back to you.

The Congregation rises or falls by abiding in the measure of Christ
2 Corinthians 10:12 For we dare not class ourselves or compare ourselves with those
who commend themselves. But they, measuring themselves by themselves, and
comparing themselves among themselves, are not wise.
