Do you believe God will allow CERN to destroy the earth?
No I do not but it scares me that they think they have jurisdiction over the universe and can tinker with it any way they want. " Oh let's see what happens if we do this!" Meanwhile they don't have a clue! It bothers me that nobody is raising the roof and stopping them.

If we did not experiment, we would not have any of the scientific advancements we have gained over time. I can guarantee you that not a single person at CERN thinks they have jurisdiction over the universe. They would be the first person to tell you that Earth is only a very, very tiny part of the universe.

No single Christian is so powerful that they could destroy the Universe and Cern has the power to do this if they mess up. The problem I have with CERN is that they are doing these experiments on such a large scale and in essence, with all due respect, they really do not know what they are doing. Why did the Hadron collider have to be 16 miles long? Why couldn't they design something on a smaller more manageable scale? Well what's worse is they want to build something 4 times larger than what they have. They are seeking to replace the LHC with an enormous " new and improved" Hadron Collider and it will be 62 miles long. So far they have 1500 contributors trying to come up with the 17 billion it will cost to build it and they plan to have it running by 2040. Why do we allow this kind of thing? Who gave them jurisdiction to mess with our universe? I will say it again. They don't know what they are doing and the effects of this could be catastrophic. This is not a conspiracy theory. This is a fact. Cold and hard. And this antimatter and dark matter they are trying to create and contain is so unstable it will make fat man and little boy look like cap guns.

Christians have no power of their own but God has the power to create and destroy the Universe. True they don't really know what their doing but I would find it rather unlikely that man actually has enough power over the natural world to accidentally completely destroy it. I would find it rather disappointing if God allowed the end of the universe to be caused by man's technology rather than doing it Himself. People thought the first large particle collider could destroy the Earth the first time it was turned on but it didn't.

All that and you haven't even mentioned the REALLY concerning CERN conspiracy theory.

I have a passion for conversation, without it we would still be( as they say) chipping out stone-age tools. For some unknown reason ( maybe only to me) our modern age does not relate or correlate a whole lot to our intelligence. A famous Quote " In this short life you will meet, a lot of real stupid, old people" . Wait a second that was me that said that.
I have a list of words I like, one's I use, and last a large list in the unused category. Take the word conspiracies, first my dyslexia prohibits it from being stored my limited storage space. I would sooner use words like the pirate sea, or what a pirate sees while looking through his ocular glass. Words have power and If we use our faith ( words) believing in our hearts then we can say to this mountain be plucked up and cast into the sea. And this will be done for us. Now that is real power!

CERN is not the problem. The problem is however, how much it cost to build, and to add insult, these costs are hidden in our taxes. Let us also factor in how much it cost to run the beast annually. Nothing to see here, just move along.
How happy they are, (the paid scientists) that they can do the two step shuffle and blame it all on a bunch of Crazy Christians an their unscientific, hillbilly smatterings, and oh my god, theories.
======================
So now if I let you in on a little secret: Not to conspire is normal.
Conspire means;
make secret plans jointly to commit an unlawful or harmful act.
"they conspired against him"
Luke 22;2,22:22
All of them Two's in a row. This has to be a, Conspiracy

The religion of science is attempting to answer the impossible question, to define existence outside of God.

In this search CERN is trying to push the limits of matter, and discovering it has no real limits, just a further layer and then a paradox of particle and wave duality, along with position and direction but not both. Whatever creation is it is beyond us to define, being created constructs within its boundaries.

CERN believes that is power and significance that can be shown by smashing particles together at ridiculous energies. It is like looking at the universe and thinking about if we could travel to the nearest star. No is the answer, it takes too long and is just too impossible. But this religion talked about in science fiction has got so embedded in everything we do not notice.

Take the billions to look for life on mars. So they find organic matter there. So what?
Unless we know how life was created, it is meaningless. The more we learn the less we know.
To know is to know how to act, but the demolition of society and structures is just leading to destruction of norms and conformity to create space to destructive behaviour patterns.

When they realised the universe had a beginning, the big bang, creation came into being.
When they discovered our universe only exists because of universal constants so exact they cannot be random, there must be a prime mover, God. But this is so abhorrent an idea, multiverse religion was created, to stop science confirming the creator exists.

Why these religious folk are so keen to deny metaphysics in one form is because they hold to naturalistic metaphysics which is as unprovable as any other metaphysics.

This is the real conspiracy, and it will not end well if nihilism is truly their ethic, chaos is meaning, which clearly it is not, and is socially destructive. Rather sinners wish to deny their sin and justify the hurt they do to others, by claiming morality is just an invention rather than the biological foundation of humanity, like any other biological social creature. Ironically this is partly the fault of christianity claiming morality is only founded in God, when clearly it is founded in our biological programming.

Ever wonder why are mother and baby bond so well and naturally? Because we are programmed to behave like this. God bless you

Well, do you or don't you believe Cern has the power to destroy the earth or the universe?

Do you believe God has a sovereign plan for the world, or don't you?

Conspiracy theories ought to be judged on their individual claims rather than lumped together as a whole and dismissed entirely as dangerous.

Something obviously false, and potentially dangerous should be condemned.

However some things that get lumped in with the more outrageous conspiracy theories are actually true, and things that Christians ought to know about. For instance that Luci's Trust (formerly Lucifer's Trust) has links with the UN and was established by Alice Bailey who holds fundamentally anti-Christian beliefs. Many would call this a conspiracy theory but it is true, you can look it up.

One should always be discerning in this matter and judge things on an individual basis, because those who wouldn't want you looking at certain shady things will eagerly lump you with the flat earthers and dismiss you out of hand.

Should we be sharing these details when they are sucking folks into suicide?

Is this not what the scripture says not to do?

In doing this are we not party to it?
the suicidal person has a filter that is off and in general have a attitude that is why is life worth living. If that person who killed themselves over cern never heard of cern you really think they would have been well adjusted and problem free? There are hundreds of other stories out there just as bad how about global warming fear mongering and pandemics now predicted to be annual events. The Cern story has merit as a portal and their logo being a 666 is also a bit troubling as is their display of the hidu God Shiva right there too.

In my view your response dose not really address the matter I raised...

I ask again... (as no one has responded specifically)

Eph 5:12

11 Have no fellowship with the fruitless deeds of darkness, but rather expose them. 12For it is shameful even to mention what the disobedient do in secret. 13But everything exposed by the light becomes visible, for everything that is illuminated becomes a light itself.…

I think some conspiracy theories potentially have truth in them, but in the age of the Internet, I'm honestly reluctant to believe everything I see or hear without clear, well-supported, often peer-reviewed evidence. Conspiracy theories can be, indeed, very dangerous.

For example, QAnon has gone from just a small conspiracy theory on 4Chan to a borderline personality cult that incorporates aspects of Neo-Conservatism, Protestant Evangelical eschatology (like in the Left Behind series), Illuminati conspiracy theories, and recycled McCarthyism and 1980s Satanic Panic hysteria, and which upholds former president Donald Trump as a Moses, King Cyrus, or King David figure, sometimes even as a quasi-Messianic figure. Many people with family members who fell down the QAnon rabbit hole have compared the experience to watching the person join a cult, and have noted that those family members' personalities have changed drastically since, and not for the better.
