I’m watching various live feeds from Washington DC on this day when Congress is to/was to certify the Electoral College vote.

Alarming still photos are now being broadcast of protesters on the floor of the Senate and security with guns drawn and aimed.

I’ve had a growing sense of unrest for weeks about this day. I cannot help but think that what is going on now is fueled in part by a rise in demonic activity. That’s why I’ve often recited Ch. 3 of Title XI in the Rituale Romanum also for protection from demonic action surrounding the certification of the vote. I didn’t know what was on the horizon exactly, but I suspected something bad was coming.

One way or another, one outcome or another with the election, I sense that – as of today – things are not going to be the same. Today feels like a tipping point.

This didn’t develop out of nothing. It is a point along the trajectory we’ve been on for quite a while, at least since the 1960’s. I believe it has been slowly, carefully orchestrated in over the decades and it isn’t over. The education system and entertainment industry has been involved. By now, through the dumbing down and ideological twisting of education, to produce a couple generations of people who can’t reason, through the desensitizing of the masses to sin of all kinds on television, we’ve reached a kind of reaction point.

We are not at the end of what is in store for us, I’m afraid.

Now there also exists “Big Tech”.

Education… entertainment… news outlets… big tech… all aligned with an agenda which can be realized through a one party system. A party that embraces abortion and other horrors.

The other day at Crisis I saw a paragraph in an article about the lunacy of a prayer in Congress that ended “Amen, and awoman.” This sums it up well:

Because we have substituted truth for power we have arrived at a place where we cannot even use the word amen or refer to others as husband, wife, mother, and father. We are on the verge of slipping into a nothingness, surrounded on all sides by the irrational and contradictory claims of a culture that is only concerned with having the “liberty” to craft their own version of reality, rather than living in the truth of the reality in which they find themselves.

Craft your own version of reality. That was the temptation for our First Parents by the Enemy.

I am getting ready to quietly leave my job, and stay in place. We have enough food for a while. Driving to another location might be necessary or possible, too. These are important things to consider. For everyone. We may not have to do anything, but then, we may. Be ready, guys.

Praying everyone stays safe and things do not get any more insane than they already are.

I’m worried this is going to be a Reichstag fire thing to justify barring Trump from office. Obviously Biden will still get inaugurated and whatnot, and Trump was already going to be “punished” for being against the left. But now they the left has social permission to “do more”. Hopefully it will just be rhetoric and condescending speeches like we had when Obama was around. Trump should have just complained on twitter and not tried a rally. He could have spend time preparing for 2024. But now history will malign him for a while for this even though he told them to go home.

There is zero dialogue going on. There are millions of Americans who feel disenfranchised . The media spent four years trying to destroy a democratically elected president and suddenly they are having seizures when there is an equal and opposite reaction. They turned their heads when Portland and DC burned . Now suddenly there is a call for civility.

I fear for our future.

You can’t have dialog when everyone is lying and the news selectively chooses what they will report with their bias and what they will ignore. So much hypocrisy it’s enough to make one ill. Double standards are popular. The truth isn’t.

I had a longer post written up but I felt like I was getting in the weeds with it so I'll just say this: what happened yesterday and really much of what's happened since November 3rd has been very eye opening and clarifying. Believe me, I'm not ally of the left, but I'm very very disappointed in the GOP too. I question the legitimacy of many of the players that have been in the spotlight over the past two months (Lin Wood, Sidney Powell) because they've done an excellent job of making all of us conservatives look like a bunch of lunatics.

What's been happening has made a strong case to join and build up the American Solidarity Party, and hopefully we can and do. What do you think @chevyontheriver?

I still think that the way the system is implemented not only depends on two parties but structurally cannot allow more than two, so I wonder whether some rethinking would be necessary not only to restore us to a proper republic but also include other parties without crossing over into a parliamentary system. But I digress.

I'm considering it as well. Also as an aside, I remember being cautioned once that the "American Independent Party" isn't the same thing as being registered Independent, sometimes voter registration documents have a separate place for "No Party Preference" which is what you check off to register as an independent voter. But if you meant to register as such then cool.
