COVID-19 a 'boomer remover' — Why millennials are angry and done with older generation

It's kind of sad and kind of amusing, millennials are beyond sick of the boomers who basically run this country right now,and the next generation today is teenagers who will be voting for years from now or even more ticked. I've heard more than one say they're just waiting for you them to die. That's a sad part. Best article says what exactly has the older generation left at this generation. A failing economy, war, mass school shootings, our children know that the right at least care more about their guns and the lives of their children, oh and let's not forget pandemics. And the funny part is the panic you can see in many boomers, the ones in political Powers the moment. They see their time passing by and they're fighting every way they can't keep from happening. But time is the one thing you can't buy. And I'm talking about Republicans and Democrats I blame both groups equally. It's going to be real fun watching elections for years from now. And many Republicans actually think that today's 15 year-olds who in four years from now are going to allow Donald Trump being re-elected and that's if he is alive. I should congratulate the Republican party you have successfully made it so that the majority of today's teens can't wait to be old enough to vote. and I don't think many Republicans realize just how many teenagers absolutely despise the Republican party. Because the Republican party has made it abundantly clear they don't care about them. School shooting after school shooting, and all the right cares about is keeping their guns. The concept of common Sense gun laws where you keep your gun but you put laws in place that prevent children and lunatics from getting guns doesn't register with them. And despite all the hoopla from the right common Sense gun laws do 100% work there are plenty of countries where you can own a gun but they're very strict gun laws on who can own a gun. And those countries have the lowest violent crime rates in the world. But not in America. The boomers are systematically destroying our environment. Their attitude is not my problem, today's teenagers realized that it's going to be their problem. More millennials are liberal than Republican, and the next generation that number is even higher. Boomers brought it on themselves

Too bad! I am 77 and I've lived and done my share to love my neighbors. Most of them will "have their day" in the future also.

I'm an older Millennial (est. 1982), and I'm not sick of Boomers at all. Heck, both my parents were boomers (1949/1950), and I'd do anything to have them still here with me, if that were possible. They were great people, as are my Boomer-aged aunts and other relatives.

I do think it's true that we will see a political shift when the next generation takes the place of the Boomers in that arena of life, and I don't think that's all bad (e.g., I do agree that it is long past time for Nancy Pelosi to retire, but I'm pretty sure that has more to do with me being a Californian than with me being a Millennial). Still, I hope my fellow Millennials don't overplay their hand in announcing that it's 'our time now' or whatever, as I've already seen plenty of Gen Z memes that are pointed squarely at Millennials and 'Millennial culture' (e.g., things like Harry Potter which frankly I was too old for, hahaha).

No one stays in the limelight forever. This is as it is meant to be.

Of course not all millennials (or even most) harbor this hatred or are "waiting for them to die". However, there are always a few who look to blame others. Just like some of the boomers blamed the generation above them for the worlds problems. (Remember the movie "Wild in the Streets?" Kill everyone over 25). Most realize there is plenty of blame to go around and no generation has all the answers or won't make grievous mistakes. Even now if more millennials would vote, (which few do) perhaps the changes they want to see could begin to happen.

I know young men and women who love there parents and some who can't wait for them to die. The ones who have expressed that desire, death, were waiting for the inheritance. Boomers protested against the previous generation, them became them to some degree. I find it to be more of a progressive cycle, corrections in direction than utter rejection in the majority. There will always be the rebellious loud and self serving.

I don’t like the broad brush approach towards everyone of a certain age, but I am glad that there’s finally a strong backlash to the obstructionists struggling to hang on to the status quo regardless of what it costs “others”. It’s about time for many of them to get out of the way.

Covid has attacked the young also. And it is the young who are mostly spreading it. It has hit babies - even in utero. You can't get younger than that! It may hit older folks harder and easier, but the young are most definitely not spared. And animals are also getting it. And they may have been the source, coupled with our mishandling of them.

I expect the millennials will get their revenge by euthanizing us as soon as it is convenient for them. I hope I raised my children better than that.

9He asked them, “What message do you advise that we send back to these people who have spoken to me, saying, ‘Lighten the yoke your father put on us’?” 10The young men who had grown up with him replied, “This is how you should answer these people who said to you, ‘Your father made our yoke heavy, but you should make it lighter.’ This is what you should tell them: ‘My little finger is thicker than my father’s waist!

1 kings 12:9-10

Little dudes always think they know best. Thats why they can't properly rule a kingdom.

I being a millennial, love the boomers. At my church I make sure to show them upmost respect. I hear them when they have to speak and make sure to take in the advice that they want to share. Outside of the church I still respect them and give time to hear their opinions and consider it. (As long as its not against the bible lol). The bible mentions the importance of respecting our elders.

What you have mentioned is all political and does not deal with everyday life's struggles. What each person goes through on a daily basis. But rather a political viewpoint and its failing popularity. What does that have to do with the kingdom of Christ? Follow Jesus and respect thy elders as the bible says.

21When Peter saw him, he asked, “Lord, what about him?” 22 Jesus answered, “If I want him to remain until I return, what is that to you? You follow Me! John 21:21-22

We're on the cusp of the final, from dependency back to bondage.

The Biden administration will move the nation closer into dependency.

Remember the blind leading the blind, where a world is taught since birth to listen to those who call themselves leaders of a system that serves those at the top at the expense of the rest. Followers of those leaders are spoken of in Matthew 13. There will be leaders and followers, and only a few that will reject the self serving system of man altogether in favour of the ways of the Kingdom.
Matthew 13:22 He also that received seed among the thorns is he that heareth the word; and the care of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, choke the word, and he becometh unfruitful.

As did the opposing side. It takes two sides to make a whole. Taking either side ensures failure.

Being born again means breaking free of both, rejecting and repenting of the system and world man has made in our own image.

Man, if there was a way to winner this a hundred times I would. The left in this nation isiving us further and further to dependence. You hear it all the time. Government should do more and more and more for people. Government should give us more and more in order for us to be happy and satisfied. If we got rid of guns we'd be happier. If we had free college we'd be happier, if we had a 32 hour work week we'd be happier, if we'd had single payer healthcare, we'd be happier, if we all made the same amount of money, we'd be happier. If we all lived in a box we'd be happier. If religion wasnt as prevelant we'd be happier. If we just didn't let those conservatives have a voice on campuses, social media and you tube we'd all be happier.

It's all about the government doing something for us. Government protecting us from opinions we don't want to hear. Because we all know that government knows best.

The arrogance of millennials, who are pushing 40 at this point, is beyond the pale. They have been given everything they ever wanted and all they do is whine. Few of them have any initiative, they expect everything to be handed to them.

Yup, Trump is the reason why Biden was elected.

Trump did some things well, but overall and his insults were more than what people could stand. So, they made sure Biden won.

Now we move toward dependency as people are need bailout money and government aid.
