Q3. Who does the bible describe as God's people?

[1.] God’s people are described as God’s sheep that hear believe and follow Gods Word *John 10:26-27

[2.] God’s people are described as God’s saints that keep the commandments of God and the faith or teachings of Jesus *Revelation 14:12.

[3.] God’s people are described as those who the dragon (devil) is making war with because they keep the commandments of God *Revelation 12:17

[4.] God’s people are described as having the testimony of JESUS which is the Spirit of Prophecy. They know the end day prophecies *Revelation 19:10

[5.] God’s people are described as being blessed because they washed their robes in the blood of the lamb *1 Peter 1:18-19; Revelation 7:14; Revelation 12:11; Revelation 22:14

[6.] God’s people are described as being blessed because they keep Gods commandments and receive eternal life *Revelation 22:14

[7.] God’s people are described as being born again and do not practice sin (breaking Gods’ commandments) *1 John 3:6-9

[8.] The different between the children of God and the children of the devil is that the children of God do not practice sin (breaking God’s commandments) and the children of the devil do *1 John 3:6-10.

……………………….

In summary how do we know we know God and are Gods saints? Well Gods saints are in every Church who are living up to all the light of the knowledge of Gods’ Word that God has revealed to them and in times of ignorance when we do not know any better God winks at but when God gives us a knowledge of His Word he calls all men everywhere to believe and follow it *Acts of the Apostles 17:30-31; James 4:17.

Many do not know that the religious teachers of the world of fallen away from God’s Word in order to follow man made teachings and traditions that break the commandments of God. BABYLON is described as being fallen. The mother church and her daughters *Revelation 14:8; Revelation 17:1-5. She has changed times and law *Danial 7:25 and supplanted her own day of worship for which there is no scripture in place of God’s 4th commandment which is one of God’s 10 commandments that give us the knowledge of what sin is when broken *Romans 3:20; Romans 7:7; 1 John 3:4.

God has his people in all of these Church’s and is calling his people out of Babylon from following the traditions and teachings of men back to the pure Word of God. *Revelation 18:1-5. The hour is coming and now is that the true worshippers will worship God in Spirit and in truth. God is a Spirit and those who worship Him must worship Him in Spirit and in truth. *John 10:16; John 4:23-24.

What is the test to know if we know God?

1 John 2:3-4 [3], And HEREBY WE KNOW THAT WE KNOW HIM, IF WE KEEP HIS COMMANDMENTS.

[4], HE THAT SAITH, I KNOW HIM, AND KEEPETH NOT HIS COMMANDMENTS, IS A LIAR, AND THE TRUTH IS NOT IN HIM

In times of ignorance God winks at but when he gives us a knowledge of the truth of his Word calls all men everywhere to believe and follow. God’s sheep hear His voice (the Word) and follow it.

God bless.

Q4. Who is God's ISRAEL in the new covenant?

There is no such thing as Jew or Greek anymore. All who believe and follow God's Word are one in Christ. Israel in the OLD COVENANT were those from the seed of Abraham. In the NEW COVENANT, if you are in Christ then you are Abrahams seed and heirs according to the promise...

EPHESIANS 2:11-13 [11], Why remember, that you being in TIME PAST Gentiles in the flesh, who are called Uncircumcision by that which is called the Circumcision in the flesh made by hands;

[12], That AT THAT TIME [in the Past] YOU WERE WITHOUT CHRIST, BEING ALIENS FROM THE COMMONWEALTH OF ISRAEL, STRANGERS FROM THE COVENANT OF PROMISE, HAVING NO HOPE, AND WITHOUT GOD IN THE WORLD: [13], BUT NOW IN CHRIST JESUS, YOU WHO WERE FAR OFF ARE MADE NEAR BY THE BLOOD OF CHRIST.

GALATIANS 3:28-29 [28], THERE IS NEITHER JEW NOR GREEK, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: FOR YOU ALL ONE IN CHRIST JESUS AND IF YOU BE CHRISTS, THEN YOU ARE ABRAHAM'S SEED FOR YOU ARE ALL ONE IN CHRIST JESUS [29], and IF YOU BE CHRISTS, THEN ARE YOU ABRAHAM'S SEED, AND HEIRS ACCORDING TO THE PROMISE.

God's true ISRAEL in the NEW COVENANT are not by name only but all those in Christ. Those of the FLESH (sinful human nature) are not Abrahams seed but those who BELIEVE and FOLLOW God in Christ are God's ISRAEL...

ROMANS 9:6-8 [6], FOR THEY ARE NOT ALL ISRAEL WHICH ARE OF ISRAEL,: [7], NEITHER, BECAUSE THEY ARE THE SEED OF ABRAHAM, ARE THEY ALL CHILDREN: but in Isaac shall thy seed be called <Christ> [8], That is, THEY WHICH ARE THE CHILDREN OF THE FLESH, THESE ARE NOT THE CHILDREN OF GOD: BUT THE CHILDREN OF THE PROMISE <those who believe> ARE COUNTED FOR THE SEED.

God's ISRAEL are all those in CHRIST that have been given a NEW HEART according to the NEW COVENANT promise...

ROMANS 2:28-29 [28], FOR HE IS NOT A JEW WHICH IS ONE OUTWARDLY; NEITHER IS THAT CIRCUMCISION, WHICH IS OUTWARDS IN THE FLESH: [29], BUT HE IS A JEW WHICH IS ONE INWARDLY; and CIRCUMCISION IS OF THE HEART, IN THE SPIRIT, AND NOT IN THE LETTER; whose praise is not of men, but of God.

In the NEW COVENANT all those in Christ are are God's ISRAEL...

COLOSSIANS 3:11 [11], WHERE THERE IS NEITHER JEW NOR GREEK circumcision nor uncircumcision, Barbarian, Scythian, bond nor free: BUT CHRIST IS ALL IN ALL.

ROMANS 10:11-13 [11], For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed. [12], FOR THERE IS NO DIFFERENCE BETWEEN JEW OR GREEK: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him. [13], FOR WHOSOEVER SHALL CALL UPON THE NAME OF THE LORD SHALL BE SAVED.

The New Covenant is for God's Israel...

EZEKIEL 36:26-27 [26], A NEW HEART WILL I GIVE YOU, AND A NEW SPIRIT WILL I PUT WITHIN YOU; AND I WILL TAKE AWAY THE STONY HEART OUT OF YOUR FLESH, AND GIVE YOU A HEART OF FLESH. [27], AND I WILL PUT MY SPIRIT WITHIN YOU, AND CAUSE YOU TO WALK IN MY STATUTES AND YOU SHALL KEEP MY JUDGEMENTS AND DO THEM.

and again...

JEREMIAH 31:33-34 [33], BUT THIS IS THE COVENANT THAT I WILL MAKE WITH THE HOUSE OF ISRAEL; After those days, says the LORD, I WILL PUT MY LAW IN THEIR INWARD PARTS,AND WRITE IT IN THEIR HEARTS; and will be their God, and they shall be my people. [34], And they shall teach no more every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the LORD: for they shall all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, says the LORD: for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more.

Paul proclaims it here...

HEBREWS 8:10-12 [10], BUT THIS IS THE COVENANT THAT I WILL MAKE WITH THE HOUSE OF ISRAEL; After those days, says the LORD, I WILL PUT MY LAW IN THEIR INWARD PARTS, AND WRITE IT IN THEIR HEARTS; and I will be to them a God, and they shall be to me a people: [11], And they shall not teach every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the Lord: for all shall know me, from the least to the greatest. [12], For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their iniquities will I remember no more.

The NEW COVENANT is for GOD'S ISRAEL which represent those who BELIEVE and FOLLOW God’s WORD.

If you are not part of GOD'S ISRAEL then you are not a part of the NEW COVENANT (Hebrews 8:10-12).

............

CONCLUSION: God's ISRAEL is the name given by God to all those who BELIEVE and FOLLOW his WORD. GENTILES are now grafted in. If you are not a part of the God's ISRAEL then you have no part in the NEW COVENANT.

God bless

Do you know what Acts of the Apostles 17:30-31 and Hebrews 10:26-31 mean?
Of course I understand those verses. Though I am not under the law of Moses.

Do you understand the following verses LGW?

John 3:18
He who believes in Him is not judged; he who does not believe has been judged already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

John 5:24
Truly, truly, I say to you, he who hears My word, and believes Him who sent Me, has eternal life, and does not come into judgment, but has passed out of death into life.

Matthew 12:31
Therefore I say to you, any sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven people, but blasphemy against the Spirit shall not be forgiven.

Mark 3:28
Truly I say to you, all sins shall be forgiven the sons of men, and whatever blasphemies they utter.

1 John 1:9
If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

Romans 4:7
Blessed are those whose lawless deeds have been forgiven, and whose sins have been covered.

Of course I understand those verses. Though I am not under the law of Moses.

Soo I asked you if you know the meaning of the Acts of the Apostles 17:30-31 and Hebrews 10:26-31 as an answer to your question is someone saved by continuing in known unrepentant sin and your response is to say you understand those verses without telling anyone what they mean or acknowledging that your question was answered? You know that the Law of God written on the two tables of stone with the finger of God is the 10 commandments right it was never called the law of MOSES in the scriptures and had nothing to do with Moses. It was the work of God alone and spoken by God to the people *Exodus 32:16; Exodus 20:1-17.

No one (Jew or Gentile believer) is "under the law" if they have repented from their sins and received God's forgiveness. We are only "under the law" according to Romans 3:19 if we stand before God guilty of breaking the law. Paul continues from showing both Jews and Gentiles all "under sin" and that to be "under sin" means to be "under the law guilty before God of breaking the law" *Romans 3:9-19..

Romans 3:19 [19], Now we know that what things soever the law said, it said to them who are under the law: that every mouth may be stopped, and all the world may become guilty before God.

Romans 3:20 tells us the purpose of God's law in the next verse....

Romans 3:20 [20], Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin.

Do you understand the following verses LGW?

John 3:18

Romans 4:7
Blessed are those whose lawless deeds have been forgiven, and whose sins have been covered.

Why yes I do, thank you. No one is cleansed from their sins (breaking Gods' commandments - 1 John 3:4) however if they are knowingly continuing in their sins (breaking anyone of Gods' 10 commandments - James 2:10-11) they are not cleaned or forgiven from their sins because the are still doing them *Hebrews 10:26-31; Proverbs 28:13; Acts of the Apostles 2:38; Acts of the Apostles 3:19; Acts of the Apostles 8:22; 1 John 2:3-4; 1 John 3:6-9.

May God bless you as you receive his Word.

Have another read of Acts 17:30-31.

Paul is preaching the death and resurrection of the Christ to the Greeks. Paul is not asking the Greeks to 'repent' of sin. Paul is asking the Greeks to turn, repent, accept the Christ as the Lord of heaven and earth.

You need to read the text properly LGW.

Did you wish me to help here? I am happy to if you would like me to please let me know. It seems you missed what the scripture was saying.

So do you accept that someone who believes in Jesus is not judged?

John 3:18
He who believes in Him is not judged; he who does not believe has been judged already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

Or is that verse wrong?

What does it mean to believe in Jesus?
According to Paul the apostle.

Romans 10:9
That if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.

Are you saying that someone who believes in Jesus is not saved?

Everyone sins LGW. Tell me LGW, do you sin?

If you continue to sin are you saved and why?

Sin is lawlessness.

Everyone does sin because those scriptures I was trying to share with you show that sanctification is about growing in the knowledge of God's grace and there is a difference between known sin and unknown sin. Do those who have been born again to receive God's Grace through faith knowingly practice sin?

All people sin, Christians sin, all sin is disobedience to God. Sin is lawlessness and all are lawbreakers.

From God's perfect standpoint all humanity is fallen and evil.

Little sins, big sins, what's the difference?

You are a sinner that teaches other people not to commit sin.

How about being honest and confessing you sins to the Lord.

How about admitting that you are no better, than the person standing next to you.

The difference between known sin and unknown sin is not the question. The point is that you commit wilful sin just like everyone else. Honesty and integrity, admission of sin is better than concealing your sin from others.

Confess for the forgiveness of all sin.

You bet we have a different understanding of the scripture.

All I see are sinners saved by the grace of God.

Everyone is absolutely reliant on Jesus Christ for their salvation. We cannot contribute to that reconciliation that Jesus, the perfect sacrifice, established for us.

You sin and you cannot help yourself, no matter how much you mention sanctification.

Confess and be forgiven, washed clean by the blood of Jesus.

Honesty and integrity are absent in the modern church.

According to God's Word (not mine), no one is saved by God's grace if they are continuing to practice known unrepentant sin *Hebrews 6:4-8; Hebrews 10:26-31. John writes these things to us that we sin not * 1 John 2:1 but if any man sins we have an advocate with the father, Jesus Christ the righteous *1 John 2:2. Those who continue to practice known unrepentant sin are the ones that JESUS says depart from me you who work iniquity (sin) I never knew you *Matthew 7:21-23. These are the ones that Paul says receive a certain fearful looking forward to of the judgement and fiery indignation because by continuing in known unrepentant sin when God gave them a knowledge of the truth of his Word and they rejected it, trod under foot the Son of God, and counted the blood of the covenant, with which they were sanctified, an unholy thing, doing despite to the Spirit of grace in Hebrews 10:26-31. John also says that if anyone says that they know God while continuing in sin (breaking his commandments - 1 John 3:4) is not telling the truth and the difference between the children of God and the children of the devil is that God's people do not practice sin in 1 John 3:6-10. All you have provided above in this post dear friend are your words that disagree with God's Word. I choose Gods as shown here. We are not washed and cleansed from our sins if we choose to continue to knowingly practice them *Proverbs 28:9-13. The soul that continues in sin according to the scriptures will die *Ezekiel 18:4, because the wages of sin is death to all those who reject the gift of God's dear son by continuing in their sins *Romans 6:23; Hebrews 10:26-31. JESUS says if we are not born again we cannot enter the kingdom of heaven *John 3:3-7. John and Paul teach those who are born again into God's new covenant promise do not practice sin *1 John 3:6-9; Romans 3:31; Romans 8:4; Galatians 5:16; Hebrews 8:10-12; Romans 13:8-10. Sin is the difference between the children of God and the children of the devil according to the scriptures *1 John 3:6-10; Revelation 14:12; Revelation 22:14 and how we know God *1 John 2:3-4.

May you receive God's Word and be blessed.

Q5. BABYLON has fallen? Who is BABYLON and leave what to where?

REVELATION 14:8 [8], And there followed another angel, saying, Babylon is fallen, is fallen, that great city, because she made all nations drink of the wine of the wrath of her fornication.

NOTE: BABYLON is being portrayed here in REVELATION 14:8 as an UNFAITHFUL WOMAN.

Similar warnings and scriptures are also found in REVELATIONS 17:1-5 where BABYLON is described as an UNFAITHFUL WOMAN [HARLOT] sitting on the SCARLET COLORED BEAST which is connected to those receiving the MARK OF THE BEAST in REVELATIONS 14:9-10. While REVELATIONS 18:1-10 is a call for God’s people to come out of BABYLON that they do not receive the judgments of God which are connected to the BEASTS MARK. Let’s look at some of these scriptures.

REVELATIONS 17:1-5
[1], And there came one of the seven angels who had the seven bowls, and talked with me, saying unto me, come here; I will show unto you the judgment of the GREAT HARLOT THAT SITS ON MANY WATERS:
[2], With whom the kings of the earth have committed fornication, and the inhabitants of the earth have been made drunk with the wine of her fornication.
[3], So he carried me away in the spirit into the wilderness: and I saw a woman sitting upon a scarlet colored beast, full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns.
[4], And the woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet color, and adorned with gold and precious stones and pearls, having a golden cup in her hand full of abominations and filthiness of her fornication:
[5], And upon her forehead was a name written, MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH.

NOTE: Here we have the WOMAN who is said to be a HARLOT that sits on many waters also a scarlot colored BEAST. This WOMEN HARLOT is named BABYLON THE GREAT THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH. These scriptures link directly to …

REVELATION 14:8 [8], And there followed another angel, saying, Babylon is fallen, is fallen, that great city, because she made all nations drink of the wine of the wrath of her fornication.

NOTE: BABYLON therefore in REVELATIONS represents a WOMAN that is the MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH. A WOMAN in bible prophecy represents God’s professed people. A PURE WOMAN represents God’s true Church *JEREMIAH 6:2; 2 CORINTHIANS 11:2; EPHESIANS 5:23-27, while an UNFAITHFUL WOMAN or HARLOT represents an APOSTATE CHURCH that is UNFAITHFUL to GOD and his WORD *EZEKIEL 16:15-58; 23:2-21; HOSEA 2:5; 3:1; REVELATION 14:4. Let’s look at the scriptures. Therefore, BABYLON that is connected that sits on the BEAST represents a CORRUPT RELIGIOUS POLITICAL POWER. It sits on many WATERS *REVELATION 17:1 which is symbolic of this CORRUPT RELIGIOUS POLITICAL POWER having influence over many people…

REVELATION 17:15, And he said unto me, The waters which you saw, where the harlot sits, are peoples, and multitudes, and nations, and tongues.

She commits FORNICATION with the KINGS of the EARTH which means this is as WORLD-WIDE RELIGIOUS movement *REVELATIONS 17:2

This WORLD-WIDE CORRUPT RELIGIOUS POWER IS ALSO SAID TO BE THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS. This is many CORRUPT RELIGIOUS CHURCHES have come out of BABYLON. Now BABYLON represents confusion it is a world-wide corrupt religious political Church that has influence with all the kings of the earth.

IMPORTANT NOTE: We need to stop here to make something clear before proceeding further in identifying who BABYLON represents. These scriptures are NOT TALKING ABOUT THE PEOPLE IN THESE CHURCHES! God has many of his people inside these corrupt Churches. How do we know this? Please pay attention to the following scriptures.

REVELATIONS 18:1-10
[1], And after these things I saw another angel come down from heaven, having great power; and the earth was made bright with his glory.
[2], And he cried mightily with a strong voice, saying, Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen, and is become the habitation of demons, and the haunt of every foul spirit, and a cage of every unclean and hateful bird.
[3], For all nations have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her fornication, and the kings of the earth have committed fornication with her, and the merchants of the earth have grown rich through the abundance of her luxury.
[4], And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, COME OUT OF HER MY PEOPLE, THAT YOU BE NOT PARTAKERS OF HER SINS, AND THAT YOU RECEIVE NOT OF HER PLAGUES.
[5], For her sins have reached unto heaven, and God has remembered her iniquities.

God has his people in BABYLON which represents CORRUPT APOSTATE CHRISTIANITY. God’s WORD goes on to say…

JOHN 10:16 And other sheep I have, which are not of this fold: them also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice; and there shall be one-fold, and one shepherd.

JOHN 4:21-24
[21], Jesus said unto her, Woman, believe me, the hour comes, when you shall neither in this mountain, nor yet at Jerusalem, worship the Father.
[22], You worship you know not what: we know what we worship: for salvation is of the Jews.
[23], But the hour comes, and now is, when the true worshipers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeks such to worship him.
[24], God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.

...............

CONCLUSION:
God has his people in EVERY CHURCH. Not all these Churches are following God or his WORD. Not all these Churches are faithful to God or his WORD. It is not the people in these Churches that God hates and will send judgements to it is the Churches that lead his people away from his WORD to break his commandments. God has his people in all these Churches and is calling his true people out of these Churches to worship him and follow him in Spirit and in truth according to the WORD of GOD. It is because of his great love to us that before the judgments of God fall on these Churches, GOD will call his true followers OUT of these corrupt unfaithful Churches to follow him according to his WORD.

BABYLON represents the Mother Church; the Roman Catholic Church (not the people in it) and the fallen Protestant Churches (not the people). God has his people in every Church and loves them all. He is calling them out to worship him in Spirit and in truth according to his Word. God is calling his people where ever they may be out from following man-made teachings and traditions back to the pure Word of God. God’s Sheep hear His Voice (the Word) and follow him. Those who do not hear do not follow *John 10:26-27

God bless...

Hello LGW.

You stated the following in post #338.
According to God's Word (not mine), no one is saved by God's grace if they are continuing to practice known unrepentant sin *Hebrews 6:4-8;
Here is the passage you highlighted.

Hebrews 6:4-8
For it is impossible, in the case of those who have once been enlightened and have tasted of the heavenly gift and have been made partakers of the Holy Spirit, and have tasted the good word of God and the powers of the age to come, and then have fallen away, to restore them again to repentance, since they again crucify to themselves the Son of God and put Him to open shame. For ground that drinks the rain which often falls on it and produces vegetation useful to those for whose sake it is also tilled, receives a blessing from God; but if it yields thorns and thistles, it is worthless and close to being cursed, and it ends up being burned.

That passage does not mention 'known unrepentant sin'. It looks as though you are applying an interpretation to the text.

How do you interpret 'thorns and thistles' in Hebrews 6:4-8?
