Jeremiah 45:5. But you, are you expecting great things for yourself?
Seek no more!

For I am about to bring calamity on all flesh, a declaration of The Lord;
but I will grant you your life as a spoil in all places where you may go.

Psalm 68:18. You have ascended on high, you have led captivity captive: you have
received gifts for men; for the rebellious also, that the Lord God might dwell among them.

1 Corinthians 6:20. For you were bought at a price; therefore glorify God in your body
and in your spirit, which are God’s.

Isaiah 42:8. I am the Lord: that is my name: and my glory will I not give to another..

Mark 10:44. And whosoever of you will be the chiefest, shall be servant of all.

Luke 22:27. For who is greater, he who sits at the table, or he who serves? it not he
who sits at the table? Yet I am among you as the One who serves.

Matthew 10:24. A disciple is not above his teacher, nor a servant above his master.
25 It is enough for a disciple that he be like his teacher, and a servant like his master.

Eph 3:18+18 etc tells us how unimaginable large God's love for us is.
You consistently forget that God is for us.
???
I haven't forgotten at all brother. What you say is the reason we can trust Him
and desire to serve Him. If our life seems to be among the least of these in service to Him,
He is glorified, and we will be partakers of that glory...when He comes for us.
2 Thessalonians 1:10. when He comes, in that Day, to be glorified in His saints and to be admired among all those who believe, because our testimony among you was believed.

So brother, how is it I can post 7 scriptures without comment, and a title on the post taken
from the first reference, and your reaction is always to find fault in me? I would say that
you are the more consistent, even predictable contributor.
The purpose of the discussion would be what these verses speak to you.
Would you care to share on that? I would say briefly that one reaction for me is this:
"my life is not my own".
Not to be all negative, I do appreciate the prayer from Ephesians 3 that you mention.
It is a word we all need to fulfill our service to the Lord, as a servant to His Master.
Ephesians 3:
14
For this reason I bow my knees to the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ,
15 from whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named,
16 that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened
with might through His Spirit in the inner man,

17 that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love,
18 may be able to comprehend with all the saints
what is the width and length and depth and height—
19 to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.
20 Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us,
21 to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen.

"that you, being rooted and grounded in love,
may be able to comprehend with all the saints"

You do realize, since you quoted, that this speaks to our relationship to one another, right?
The unimaginable love you mention, and Paul speaks of, is for us to share.

Good OP !

1 Corinthians 6:19-20

Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; 20 you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your bodies.

Romans 12:1
Therefore I urge you, brothers, on account of God's mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God, which is your spiritual service of worship.

Romans 6:19
I speak after the manner of men because of the infirmity of your flesh: for as ye have yielded your members servants to uncleanness and to iniquity unto iniquity; even so now yield your members servants to righteousness unto holiness.

Matthew 5:16
Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.

hope this helps !!!

yield your members servants to righteousness unto holiness.
I like this translation using the word 'yield' in Romans 6:19.
I once, long ago, was reading the transcript of a sermon given by evangelist Watchman Nee,
where He preached that we walk in the righteousness of faith by 'reckoning'. The text was
Romans 6:11. Likewise you also, reckon yourselves to be dead indeed to sin, but alive to God
in Christ Jesus our Lord.

15 Therefore by Him let us continually offer the sacrifice of praise to God, that is, the fruit of our lips, giving thanks to His name.
16 But do not forget to do good and to share, for with such sacrifices God is well pleased.

God gave you verses to post, he will have also given you a message from those verses.
So why didn't you pass on the message.

The random posting of biblical verses is a valid as pulling a promise out of a promise box and claiming it applies to one's situation.

God does not operate on a lucky dip principal, he speaks clearly to us.

Since when is the message not in the verses? Your position is untenable.
Title: Your life is a spoil. Do you not understand? You are a captive of someone else's victory,
i.e. Christ's.
"He led captivity captive". Get it? Paul quotes it in Ephesians 4, if you want to enhance your understanding, you can start there.
I already mentioned one message I received:
The purpose of the discussion would be what these verses speak to you.
Would you care to share on that? I would say briefly that one reaction for me is this:
"my life is not my own".
If I tried to dictate to you what I think the message is, would that not be offensive? Or does that simply
take away an opportunity for you to start an argument? Not sorry if I disappointed you.
If you see these scriptures as 'random', that speaks to your comprehension. If God did not speak
to you, I will not answer to that. Your 'promise box' analogy? It is the only invalid point.
As to the "lucky dip principle", please do not elaborate, sounds totally off topic. Not interested.
"You were bought with a price". Do you really need me to elaborate on the price Christ paid to win
the Victory over sin and death? Or are you just testing me? Not random.
"I will not give my glory to another". Again, are you without comprehension?
The last three verses are all "red letter" quotes made by Jesus concerning the status of being a servant.
Does a servant seek his own glory, or the glory of his Master?
Please make a note not to come back to a thread I originate. You are in need of milk, and not solid food.
You have contributed absolutely nothing to the discussion other than vain criticism. No thanks. Bye, bye.

From Jesus in Nazareth reading Isaiah and expounding on it, through the early apologetic letters right up to today, scripture is read and then expounded/preached on.

I agree with that TJ, but this is a discussion forum and my hope is to give others the opportunity to share. I have written more detailed essays with exposition, posted in two blogs, daily devotionals, Christian Scriptures and Spiritual Growth. In this discussion forum, I try to present a topic and solicit input without weighing in from OP#1, so that others can present their reaction to the verses, rather than me dictating to them what I see as the correct response. I hope this clears up my intent.

Colossians 3:
3 If then you have been raised with Christ, seek the things that are above, where Christ is,
seated at the right hand of God.
2 Set your minds on things that are above, not on things that are on earth.
3 For you have died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God.
4 When Christ who is your life appears, then you also will appear with him in glory.
5 Put to death therefore what is earthly in you:
