Hello!
So for the past week or so, I've been struggling with depersonalization. I've struggled with this in the past when I was under very bad attacks from the enemy. But I haven't struggled with it for years.
It's the creepiest feeling ever. When I look at myself in the mirror. I don't look like myself. It's so weird. Even when I look at pictures of me. It doesn't look like me. I have been praying more, and beginning to fast. So it could be attacks from the enemy.
Anyways, I would like prayer!! I've been praying and asking God to remove this from me. I'm tying to be expectant but it's hard when I feel so panicked on the inside. It's honestly one of the worst feeling I've ever felt.
Has anyone else struggled wth this before?

Thank you!! God bless :)
I’ve recently started feeling depersonalization/derealization. I’ve too experienced this before in the past, usually happens because we’ve experienced some form of traumatic experience in our lives and usually goes away on it’s own in time. My father past away four months ago and that is why I’m experiencing this again. My advice to you is if you ever experience it again, stay close to the people who love you and continue reading scripture. Drink chamomile tea everyday before bedtime or when feeling anxious, even take a warm bath with epsom salt with eucalyptus or sometimes I use baby magic shampoo because the smell comforts me. Also being immersed in a passion like drawing, reading or even taking time off from work will help, I chose to pick up extra days at work to keep my mind busy. Try the simple grounding technique by focusing on your five senses: see, smell, hear, feel and taste. I also like to fall asleep to the veggie tales series on Netflix or one of the Gospels which Netflix has all four, the Gospels of Matthew, Mark, Luke and John, each one being the closest adaptation according to the scriptures. Anytime you need someone to talk to, feel free to message me and remember that Jesus Love You!
