Well, I sure wish you guys would stop saying and thinking that this a terrible disease we should all be deathly afraid of. How many times do I have to say it? The Left wants us to believe that it is very bad. But it's not.
Don't get me wrong, any disease or sickness is bad. But covid is not as bad as the media says it is. You simply cannot trust most of the media. It's hard not to be influenced by it when it's all around you. When all this started, even though it didn't worry me, I thought it was a very bad pandemic which would likely kill you or at least make you very sick. But as time went on, the truth has come out. It's not extremely bad, it's not a pandemic, and it likely won't kill you.
Get real.

I know a family of five—three of them got it. The daughter thankfully didn’t have a bad case. But mom and dad both wound up in the hospital. He was in for over two weeks. Thankfully he is now getting better.

You guys keep saying I don't care. Let me clear something up. I do. I would never wish it on anyone and I am sorry for those who died and all those families hurting. I didn't intend for people to take what I was saying as I didn't care about those getting it, because I do. The point I was trying to make was, it's not as bad as the media and the Left says it is. Some people live in mortal dread of getting it, I'm just trying to expose that it isn't as bad as they say.

It isn't as bad as they say? Tell that to the family I know that had it.

You keep saying that you care, but your spreading the missinformation and stuff that treats ait as if you don't. Downplaying it leads to people dying, and it's not just well maybe your right, it's actually the complete opposite. 80k+ people died from something, now if you say THATS a lie then your acting as if they didn't die. The reality is something has caused up to 12k people to die a week beyond the 4 year average at one point, whats your explanation for that?

I wish I could figure out how to add links and things, that way everyone could see why I have reached my conclusions. It's not misinformation. That is what most of the media is.

just c/p it into the post what I do.

And were basing out information on the doctors and the reports. You can look at the CDC's and goverments own pages to see the excess deaths, those are a fact even if you guys like to pretend they don't exist. Explain those deaths or stop pretending it's not so bad.

Okay.
So first off, you cannot look at what the CDC and government saying about this, and assume it is correct. The CDC admitted to lying about the numbers. This is what is happening. When death certificates are made, many times the physician or the coroner or whoever does not know the actual cause of death. They just give it their best guess. That was already happening. Now, with covid here, that is being listed as the cause of death without the person having been tested. According to some, this is happening a lot. They say its anyones guess what the real totals are, but it is a lot less then what is being reported. They also are reporting deaths as covid deaths simply if the person had covid. But just because someone has it does not mean they died from it. It simply means they died with it. In an earlier post, I brought up a person who was killed by an alligator, but they had covid, so they listed it as a covid death, when obviously it wasn't. I'm not trying to be cruel here or anything, so please don't take it that way, but also most of the people who get it or die from it are people who already had health conditions or a weak immune system. Healthy people will not really be affected by it. This is the problem with locking down the country and quarantining everyone, including healthy people. Being in quarantine should be done for those who are at high risk of getting it (but that should be there choice, not the government). But for all those who are not at a high risk, there is no reason to quarantine. In fact, it does more harm than good. When in quarantine, and "social distancing" you are not being exposed to as much bacteria and germs. You may think thats a good thing, but not being exposed to those will lower your immune system, and you will be at a greater risk of getting. This is probably what many of the cases are from, but could have been prevented had the lock down not happened. And the masks are a whole other topic. They really end up doing more harm than good. And why is it mandated that everyone wear them, even the healthy people? A mask is worn to protect yourself from getting exposed from the bacteria or germs (but it really doesn't do much, if anything). But if you are healthy, why should you have to wear one, if you have a very low chance of getting the disease? Its like vaccines. Everyone looks down on those who don't use them, but why should they be mad? As long as they have the vaccine, they shouldn't have to worry if anyone else got it or not, because they are protected. Same with the masks. But I digress.
Covid is real, but the cases and death counts are inflated. Eighty percent of the population really doesn't need to worry about getting it. Why is everyone so fearful of it then? It has been over-hyped by the media and the CDC and the medical "professionals". And the Left has used to their advantage. It has worked.
Again, don't take this the wrong way. I do care about those who get covid, and the families who have a loved one die from it, just as I care about victims of any other disease. My point in all this is to try and show everyone that it is not something that people should be deathly afraid and fearful of. Covid is bad of course; any disease is. But it is not as bad as what you will hear most of the time.
To anyone reading this who has covid, knows someone who has covid, or has a loved one who died from it, I pray that God will give you the strength to get through it. You have seen firsthand that this disease is bad, just like any other. My point is not to act like it isn't.
Please don't take it that way.

nice.....ummmm you completly ignored the one massive flaw in your entire argument, the 12k extra deaths a week, so please stop with the nonsense and adress the elephant in the room. Or are you suggesting cdc and such are completly making up all the people dying?

And masks are because those that spread it don't always know yet, or show symptoms.

Plus your ignorance on the harm the disease does to healthy people that it doesn't kill is noted, much of the harm this disease does is not death, even healthy people are showing up with damage.

So nice try but you havn't accounted for a lot of stuff, people like you just downplay the disease while people are dying and getting sick. Your blatantly ignoring reality here. Not sure what you get off on spreading missinformation that will get people killed but it's sick.

So if we are not to believe the CDC, who are we to believe? You wrote a long post with no evidence, no links to reputable sources.

Loveofourlord is correct, you completely ignore the increased death toll. How do you explain it? They were not all eaten by alligators.

I will not waste any more of my time on this. I have more important things to do. You will not change or mind, or even consider it no matter what I say or what evidence I give. I would love to post the many links and videos to support what I have said, but I cannot figure out how to do it (copying and pasting doesn't work when I try). But even if I posted every single one, you are the kind of person who refuses to see the truth even when its right in front of you. For some reason, you don't want to believe any different. I get it. People don't like to have the things they believe and hold in their heart to be false. I don't. But I also keep an open mind, and I always try to admit when I am wrong. I'm not into hiding the truth. Which is why I started talking about all this. I don't know why I did though. I have never been good at explaining what is in my mind, and I usually just confuse people when I do try. No one seems to understand this, they just tell me to get over it, to just do better at it. I wish it were that easy.
Anyway, let there be no bad feelings between us. I will agree to disagree.

That's laughable. I would hardly trust the CDC with anything. Lots of fraud and misinformation. Take a look and see for yourself. If you look deep enough, you will see. That goes for covid too. But I am done. I will not try to change your mind anymore.

As a believer, I agree with Trump. Everything needs to reopen. You cannot hide from a plague. Yahweh’s wrath is real and it is promised to come. Those who get it should be the ones under quarantine. Not healthy people. If they quarantined only sick people, it will be contained and everyone could continue in their lives. We should also be aware of the fact that fear is a common tool of the devil. Just look at the Pandora's box this fear mongering has opened. Many things have come to light, but that’s for a different post.

Oh yeah...it's us that won't change our minds, says the guy who ignores everything that contradicts what you say in order to maintain the belief, and then comes up with conspiracy nonsense. Untill you can give a non conspiratorial reason for why there is hundreds of thousands of excess deaths this year, anything you say is just hand-waving. The whole world is in this grand conspiracy for some reason, and not those like trump that can't afford to admit they royally messed up.

I am not ignoring anything, I just can't explain things well. You make valid points. But of course, in your mind none of my points are valid and none bear considering, because you think are right and there is no possible other way. We'll see.
