In the Dome of the Rock the actual bedrock of Temple Mounts protrudes slightly through the floor directly under the centre of the dome. There are four carved indentations where the feet of the Ark of the covenant once stood in the Holy of Holies.

Wow!!!!

I've read a lot about this but this detail is entirely new to me!

Thank you for this!

Here is an interesting theory regarding the placement of the original Temple of Solomon Holy of Holies????

This Gihon Spring Theory makes for a Temple Mount Jewish Temple that would be no where near either the Dome of the Rock or the Al Aqsa Mosque.

Ernest L. Martin - Wikipedia

In his 1999 book The Temples that Jerusalem Forgot, Martin argued that the Haram al-Sharif is not the location of the last Temple. This was significant given his relationship with Herbert W. Armstrong whose editorial in The Plain Truth magazine was cited by Denis Michael Rohan as a reason for setting fire to the Al Aqsa mosque during the 1960s.

The basis of this work began with Martin's first visit to Jerusalem in 1961 when he first met Benjamin Mazar and later his son Ory Mazar, who informed him of his belief that the Temples of Solomon and Zerubbabel were located on the Ophel mound to the north of the original Mount Zion on the southeast ridge. In a 1996 draft report to support this theory, Martin wrote, "I was then under the impression that Simon the Hasmonean (along with Herod a century later) moved the Temple from the Ophel mound to the Dome of the Rock area." However, after studying the words of Josephus concerning the Temple of Herod the Great, which was reported to be in the same general area of the former Temples, he then read the account of Eleazar who led the final contingent of Jewish resistance to the Romans at Masada which stated that the Roman fortress was the only structure left by 73 C.E.. "With this key in mind, I came to the conclusion in 1997 that all the Temples were indeed located on the Ophel mound over the area of the Gihon Spring."[4] From these conclusions, Martin produced his book in which he asserted that the Temples of Jerusalem were located over the Gihon Spring and not over the Dome of the Rock. He wrote, "What has been amazing to me is the vast amount of Jewish, Muslim, and Christian records that remain available from the first to the sixteenth centuries that clearly vindicate the conclusions that I have reached in this book of research."

Look it up. Plenty of 'true' info on it
The only evidence I have seen is unreliable and generally come from Muslims trying to prove Jews have no claim to the temple mount. Apparently you have no credible evidence either.

There have been threads about it. Search is your friend. I posted evidence in them.

You may get a laugh out of this.... but this also could turn out to be quite useful????

This theory could become important in bringing Orthodox and Chassidic Jews together with Christians after nineteen centuries of Civil War between us?

Paul's thorn in the flesh?

This poor Dr. Kevin Zadai guy is having a seriously rough time........
In one of these lectures done at Dalton he talks about having this guy driving behind him who is so impatient that Dr. Zadai pulls off the road....... has a sandwich....... about twenty minutes later he pull out into traffic again...... and voila........ there is the same guy behind him again driving??????

I have a theory on that that is kind of funny..... and it sets up a possible major connection between us Christians with Orthodox and Chassidic Jews.........
no kidding........

Is it possible that there are devils..... followers of Azazel....... who still have serious connection in the kingdom UNDER the earth....... but they followed Azazel to as high a level of repentance as they can get to so far????????

So.... could Satan's kingdom already have been DIVIDED and fallen... due to the fulfillment of a major Yom Kippur event that has led to the Repentance of a pretty major fallen angel named Azazel???????

And both angels and devils may perhaps be cooperating to really, really, really annoy this poor Zadai guy??????

Could there be repentant and somewhat restored former fallen angels working with good angels to make absolutely certain that this poor Zadai guy doesn't get lifted up due to what he was shown during his near death experience???????

My conversation with the Rabbi.....

and for clarity:

This is just a theory and I may be wrong but after being highly skeptical of the idea of a rapture for most of my life I am now open to the idea that the Rapture could fit in extremely well with the ultimate fulfillment of the Fast of Yom Kippur.

I could not get my head around this idea until reading the NDE account of Dr. Richard Eby:

He paused as though the joy of that thought had overwhelmed him for the moment.

"My Father assures me that the time is yet a little while, but very little. Soon he will call those already in paradise to surround me as we descend from this third heaven to the first heaven around the Earth. The souls of all my saints will be instantly clothed in their new resurrection bodies, as will the living saints on Earth who rise to us in the glory cloud! At the sounding trumpet they all receive new bodies and rise to meet us in the air. We return as my body to my throne room with the Father. Now do you understand why I called this place a temporary abiding place? Do you grasp what it will mean to be one with me and the Father in your incorruptible bodies? My book states that I assumed mankind's sin so you "might be made the righteousness of God' in me!"

I can clearly recall how Jesus' voice paused at this moment. He was savoring an anticipation too intense and private to be revealed. Was he pre-living that moment at which he would enjoy the victory which his Father would give him as the eternal reward for his own long-suffering? His own sting of death would be swallowed up, and he would be the omniscient Head of a completed and compliant body for whom he had shed his blood on a terrible cross. He would reign as KING of the Jews after these days of grace. Then his thoughts returned to me.

"My son, when that time has come, my Father will call to me. The applause of the heavenly hosts will be deafening; they too have been awaiting that day, ever since they announced my birth to the shepherds at Bethlehem so long ago. Scoffers will gaze with fear and wonder as my angelic hosts watch me fulfill my promise to my earthly body of believers at my soon return to Earth." (Dr. Richard Eby, near-death .com)

My dad, Robert Tate died on January 1, 1990. He had NOT given his heart to Rabbi Jesus/Yahushua so far as I knew.

Around that time I ran into the near death experience accounts through an article in Psychology Today. As I read several books by Dr. Raymond Moody I went into something of a philosophical/theological crisis as I encountered evidence that the "soul sleep" doctrine that I had been taught by evangelist Garner Ted Armstrong and his dad had almost certainly been terribly in error!

I had been fasting on Yom Kippur since the late 1970's and I had always wondered what this verse could possibly mean:

"but the goat on which the lot fell for Aza'zel shall be presented alive before the LORD to make atonement over it, that it may be sent away into the wilderness to Aza'zel."(Leviticus 16:10 RSV)

In a nutshell I have came to strongly suspect that Azazel is the fallen angel who will be somewhat like General Abner who brought the ten tribes over to King David or to Rav Shaul/Paul who repented of persecuting Christians and followers of God.

I suspect that when the fallen angel Azazel returns to the God of Abraham with his whole heart...when Yom Kippur is completely fulfilled....then a major step will have been taken toward the ushering in of a truly new era of worldwide peace where even the eating habits of wild animals like lions will be altered!

(Matthew 12)

"And Jesus knew their thoughts, and said unto them, Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation; and every city or house divided against itself shall not stand:And if Satan cast out Satan, he is divided against himself; how shall then his kingdom stand?"

I read the op.

Thank you. I believe that there is hidden gold in every verse of scripture that when that hidden gold is fully mined out we will be astonished.

I approach the Bible like a prospector would approach his claim. I am prepared to spend a lot of time and effort searching for the shining nuggets of wisdom and insight but I am also prepared to have to shift a lot of rubble in order to find them.
