The day Dhruv Gaur's "Jeopardy!" episode taped was also the day it was announced that beloved host Alex Trebek would be undergoing another round of chemotherapy for his pancreatic cancer. So when
Gaur found himself sitting well behind the pack going into Final Jeopardy, he decided to use his answer to send a message to Trebek, in a moment that audibly choked up the host...

I think everyone inside is sad to know whats going on with Alex. This video is especially sad given the day they filmed it is the day he found out (and announced) the cancer was back.

I hope they do the right thing and don't try to replace Alex once he's gone. The show won't be the game. They lucked out with Drew on Price is Right.

I share the same sentiment as the Jeopardy contestant. I love Alex Trebek and have been watching the show since I was 11.

One of my most beloved spaces in my hometown is the one that he gifted to the city for all of us to enjoy.
