Great job if you can get it I guess.

Someone rarely does something positive you can imply it was totally because of your silent work with God. Some terrible decisions are made with people hurting - well, it is a fallen world what can you expect ?

Interesting listening to statements made by the
White House Faith Advisor.

Also nice knowing that Trump has good spiritual counsel.

No he doesn’t.

Good morning Hammster
First off I do agree with what looks like (everybody) on both sides of the aisle these days that Trump is a little Rough Around The Edges -- to say the least but, as I look at the ones running against Trump I still believe he supports the values that my Church holds more than the others.

Here is a video of some comments made as pastors describe a White House meeting with Trump.

Noted -- some others may not agree?
Have a blessed day,
Bob

At least you did not say that you believed he hold those beliefs himself....

So end justifies the means...now what could go wrong with that philosophy.

Now you are changing the subject.

Doesn't seem too much?

Just throwing in other Christians (advisors) that Trump has met with and seems to have a good ear in regards to listening to them.

There is a long list.

It's not as if one man's sound doctrine is another man's heresy within Christianity as a whole. When I read certain passages that relate the condition of the very early Church like Jude 1:12 and Acts of the Apostles 20:30, I see it more as proof that the scriptures reflect a very real world with conditions that hasn't changed in time immemorial. It's not a myth as some people like to argue.

Basically I don't see her influence on President Trump resulting in issuing an executive order that will make preachers like Joel Osteen mandatory listening any time soon.

She did a good job in that interview. But it is "curious" that the fox news interviewer mentions Joshua Harris as a critic of Trump's connection with Christianity in general. Given that Joshua "left Christianity" what "else" did we expect him to say? Why is that even a "thing" to bring up as if "surprise surprise - people who leave Christianity will sure enough speak negatively about Christianity and anyone that associates with it".

That's "news"?? seriously?

She is with the Word of Faith "prosperity Gospel"

There is a lot of denomination-A says that denomination-B has at least some error in its teaching. If we woke up tomorrow and all denominations agreed on one set of doctrines and they were all correct... we would be in heaven, not the United States. I don't see how that fact "makes the news".

I would be much more shocked and concerned if the news was "all Christians agree with everything Paula teaches" -- now that would be breaking news of high interest to me. But this matter of "President selects an advisor on religion in America and that advisor has some beliefs that are in opposition to at least one other denomination" is not a news worthy item in my humble opinion.

Got to start somewhere?
From what I've seen
most will work their way
through and out of that.

Glad to see that there is someone that joins me in finding that philosophy toxic. I hope we are not the only two left. Certainly I have encountered no one in politics that agrees with us.
