God never changes, His will for man is shown in Eden right through the bible, He is the very God of plenty and abundance. Poverty started when man sinned, it is a curse. We should not look at Paul and suppose that he is the model of what all ministers must be, in doctrine yes but not in lifestyle and Paul's doctrine is NOT poverty but the God of all abundance.

The vow of poverty wouldn't you know is Catholic stuff, while they were enriching themselves.

The fact of marriage as instituted by God and underlined by Christ PROVES that it is God will to bless and prosper mankind, for families cost money.

Do we have to give first in order for God to prosper us? NO, no more than God expects us to be righteous before He saves us or to be well before He heals us.

What IS required is for us to repent. Change our minds about things, get a different perspective...God's perspective. Stop treating God like a tightwad, it is a grievious insult to the God who is the Giver of all good things.

Everywhere the gospel has gone prosperity has followed in it's wake.

Americans above all other people should know this...look at India, Africa and hate poverty for what it is, a curse.
