THat is totally in harmony with all Scripture, with all of God's Plan and Purpose.

The enemy controls all society basically, as written in Scripture. Few escape his power.

Genesis 6:5
And GOD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.

James 1:14-15

But each person is tempted when he is lured and enticed by his own desire. Then desire when it has conceived gives birth to sin, and sin when it is fully grown brings forth death.

All evil whether in thought or deed is from the influence of satan.

1 John 3:8

When Jesus said to Peter “Get behind me, Satan! You are a hindrance to me. For you are not setting your mind on the things of God, but on the things of man.” Matthew 16

He will find both and the 1st resurrection will happen and others translated ... those in Him He will take with Him to heaven ... those not will be destroyed.

Are not christians to set their minds on the heavenly and not the earth?

Colossians 3:2

Set your minds on things that are above, not on things that are on earth.
