Kaysville man who allegedly called in death threats to Congress members being held without bail
A Kaysville man is being held at the Weber County Jail after he was arrested this week for allegedly phoning in threats to kill several members of Congress.

A complaint filed in a Utah federal court accuses Scott Brian Haven, 54, of one count of interstate transmission of threats to injure. The complaint against Haven was filed under seal on Monday, June 3, which details the alleged threats he called into congressional offices in Washington, D.C.

The federal complaint alleges that Haven called the office of a U.S. Representative and said he was “going to shoot him in the head, I’m going to do it now, are you ready?” then ended the call. That call was allegedly was placed on May 23 of this year.
