Hello Family of God,
"No man, when he hath lighted a candle, covereth it with a vessel, or putteth it under a bed; but setteth it on a candlestick, that they which enter in may see the light. For [NOTHING IS SECRET], that shall not be made manifest; neither any thing hid, [THAT SHALL NOT BE KNOWN] and come abroad." (Luke 8:16-17)
Words contained within [brackets] are used to expound on/place emphasis on certain words or phrases; there may also be grammatical errors, such as: punctuation, sentence fragments, and misplaced modifiers; so i apologize if you may have difficulty understanding any content within this message. ALL CAPS within [brackets] are utilized to place extreme importance and special attention in order that the reader may have a clearer and definite understanding concerning the Context of Bible passages cited in this discussion. I am fully aware that some readers may be overwhelmed by the length of this message; however, I believe that this is vitally important and crucial if we are to grow in the Knowledge of the Truth and to ascertain it, because none of us have "arrived" spiritually.
The bombardment of attempts made by the Devil and his cohorts to put an end to my ministry is what elicited me to write this message; these ultra pathetic losers just can't seem to get it through their thick skulls that Satan does not have their best interests in mind. These men and women are under his absolute control; he has them on a leash, and when he is done taking advantage of these poor saps, he will dispose of them like the trash that they are. When God's Absolute Sovereignty over all creatures who oppose Him and His Faithful remnant are understood with acute discernment, it will then reveal that such men and women most certainly do live up to their name.
"We know that whosoever is born of God sinneth not; but he that is begotten of God keepeth himself, and [THAT WICKED ONE TOUCHETH HIM NOT] (Grk. ouch haptetai autou; i.e., "to lay hold of or grasp"). And we know that we are of God, and [THE WHOLE WORLD LIETH IN WICKEDNESS]. And we know that the Son of God is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we may know him that is true, and we are in him that is true, even in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and eternal life." (1 John 5:18-20)
Although the Devil may tempt, accuse, and even serve as a slave of God to test the faithfulness of His Children; God is Absolutely Sovereign, and the Satan himself must first go through God before he can even lay a finger on anyone (Job 2:5; Jn. 10:28; 17:12-15; Rom. 16:20; 1 Jn. 2:13). God protects and shields His people, so the Devil cannot take full control of His children ("toucheth him not" is in the middle voice/reflexive; i.e., the Devil cannot seize Genuine Christians in his grip) because God has Satan on a leash; but the time will come when all hell will literally break loose, and all restraints that hold back evil and wickedness will "step aside" (2 Thess. 2:7; Rev. 9:1-11; 12:10-12; 13:5). The wicked one Satan already has the whole unbelieving world in his clutch (2 Cor. 4:4).
"But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost: In whom [the god of this world] hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them." (2 Corinthians 4:3-4)
"(According as it is written, [GOD HATH GIVEN THEM] the spirit of slumber, eyes that they should [not see], and ears that they should [not hear] unto this day." (Romans 11:8)
The definite article (Grk. ho theos; "the god") is employed here to describe the Devil as the one responsible for blinding the minds of the unregenerate, and when it is used in most contexts, it refers to the One True God, but the context here suggests otherwise. Nevertheless, we must keep in mind that God often allows the Devil to inflict harm, cause mischief, accuse, and to deceive those who are unwilling to bow their knees before the Almighty. In spite of all this, God's Sovereign Decree wills that such should occur according to His Perfect Plan; we find several instances of this recorded in Scripture where this is initiated by none other than God Himself (cf. Exod. 7:3,13; 9:12; 10:1; 1 Chron. 21:1; 2 Thess. 2:11).
I will be exposing the schemes and craftiness of the arch-deceiver, and how he operates in this world through human and non-human agency (e.g., those who are willing and unwilling victims of his ploys). Satan is perhaps the most underestimated, misunderstood, or even overestimated creature in Christianity, folklore, and in religious texts and literature found throughout this world. The Bible provides us with the most detailed description of this most treacherous and foul creature: his behavioral traits, character, nature, and methods of deception as the vilest of all creatures in existence, and the epitome of evil and rebellion. He is worshiped by men and women of all walks of life who are indwelt, oppressed, or influenced by evil spirits within the hierarchical system of darkness governing this world (i.e., the Kingdom of Darkness; cf. Matt. 4:8; Jn. 12:31; 14:30; 16:11; 2 Cor. 4:3-4; Eph. 2:2; 6:12; 2 Tim. 2:26; 1 Jn. 5:19).
Our battles are not fought with human weaponry; they are fought with the Word of God and its application in our lives, and through unceasing prayers whenever the Spirit prompts us to depending on the given situation. This Invisible war involves a battle with our minds and conscience (i.e., the flesh waging war against the soul; cf. 1 Pet. 2:11-12; 4:2-3); for this cause, we are to be vigilant at all times, and never to engage in this battle with frivolity (e.g., spiritual overconfidence, self-reliance, etc.).
We are also to understand that it is God Himself who gives us the Victory over Satan and his devious schemes (2 Cor. 2:11; 11:13-14; Eph. 4:14; 6:11-12; 1 Pet. 5:7-9), and it is the Lord who fights our battles (Deut. 3:22; 2 Chron. 20:15; Ps. 91:1-4; Isa. 54:17; Zech. 4:6; Lk. 10:19; Jn. 16:33; Rom. 8:31,37; 12:21; 1 Cor. 15:57; 2 Cor. 10:3-5; Eph. 6:11-17; 2 Thess. 3:3; 1 Tim. 6:12; Jas. 4:7; 1 Pet. 5:8-9; 1 Jn. 3:8; 4:4; Jude 1:9). How does He accomplish this? This is accomplished by/through the Holy Spirit's control: His guidance, empowerment, dependence upon Him in every situation we face, and with the aid of our fellow brothers and sisters [in] Christ functioning as a corporate entity (i.e., "the Body of Christ" cf. Rom. 12:4-5; 1 Cor. 12:12-31; Eph. 1:20-13; 4:16; 5:23-30; Col. 1:18; 2:18-19; 3:14-16; et al).
Below are the subtopics I will be discussing; I will post one thread for each of these topics:
I. Psychiatry and Psychology (Christian Psychiatry is an Oxymoron)
II. The Occult (Witchcraft, Sorcery, Black Magic, White Magic, Satanism, Voodoo, Divination, Necromancy, Palm reading, Telepathy, et al.)
III. The Paranormal (Supernatural Entities: Ghosts, Aliens and Ufo's, Cryptids, Chimera's, Fallen angels, demons, etc.)
IV. Sellouts for Satan
V. False Teachings, Religions, Ideologies, Philosophies, etc. (2 Cor. 10:5)
VI. Attacking the Body of Christ and Spiritual Adultery/Harlotry
VII. Major Signs concerning the Time of the End
VIII. The Proud heart (The Heart of the Matter)
IX. Exhortations
X. Closing Remarks
