He has made us competent as ministers of a new covenant—not of the letter but of the Spirit; for the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life.

Hebrews 8:13
By calling this covenant “new,” he has made the first one obsolete; and what is obsolete and outdated will soon disappear.

The New Testament is NOT called scripture. Not by the Bible anyway.
These are organizational titles applied to a collection of books.
Not inspired naming of such. Not in the Greek.

No body knew less about Acts than the Azusa St. Pentecostals. That is why Pentecostalism exists. And their same doctrine blinds you to what the message really is.

Like I said the Holy Spirit must reveal scripture before we can understand great portions of it.

That means that spiritual gifts are still in force. Right?

And spiritual gifts are part of the whole body.
Denying any of the gifts makes the body of Christ an amputee.

21 The eye cannot say to the hand, “I don’t need you!” And the head cannot say to the feet, “I don’t need you!” ...

No, they expired with the Apostles. But all believers have the Baptism of the Holy Spirit.
