I'd like to say that even though I don't agree with everything the traditional Anabaptist faith started by Conrad Grebel, Georg Blaurock and Felix Manz nearly 500 years ago I truly believe that those early Anabaptists lived out and expressed loving and wonderful obedience to Christ Jesus our King and were persecuted by not just Catholic but every major sect of Protestantism for it. They were easily the best unified movement the world had seen in many a year and easily the greatest thing to come out of the Reformation.

Even the various modern sects of Anabaptism, though practically reclusive to society, divided or the most simplest things and considerably weaker than those of old, still hold to Jesus' words and live out a life full of love and this is commendable. I can at the very least respect their constant attempts to separate the world which is always brilliant to see. I think someone like David Bercot is doing some great work in getting the Anabaptist message out there and using the Early Christians to support his arguments. I wish him all the best in the future.

The doctrine of non-resistance and loving your enemy is something that was once universal in the Early Church but now it appears to be nearly lost. Thankfully, the Anabaptists have largely helped to keep this doctrine at least seen by the average person.

The act of not swearing oaths was also something held by the Early Christians and yet we seem to keep promises all the time. Once again the Anabaptists reminded the world that there's simply not need to sear an oath if a Christian fulfills his every word.

Their separation from the world is also something that we Christians should all remember. They made sure that they were no longer in the church sense connected to those who are disobedient to God.
So I'm thankful to say that the Anabaptists have had a great impact on not only myself but hopefully many others across the planet and I suspect that those who read the tales of those early Anabaptists even today shall be convinced too.

The Anabaptists follow Jesus. That's what makes the difference. Everyone who follows Jesus , abiding in Him, are one in Christ, even if they are not Anabaptists. That's the secret of the power seen in the Ekklesia in Acts, Ephesians, Corinthians, Galatians, Philippians, 1 John, 1 Peter, and the rest.

The world / society does not follow Jesus, and most never will, according to God's Word. Darkness is over all, except for a few... (as Jesus Says "few" find the narrow road to life, even if it is millions or a billion, it is few compared to the many Jesus says are on the wide road to destruction.
