Only to scientists who change definitions to suit themselves. We cannot be Apes since Adam was made the 3rd Day before plants, herbs and Trees. Genesis 2:4-9 Every living creature that moveth was not made until the 5th Day. Genesis 1:21 Apes were among them. You have confused prehistoric people with Humans (descendants of Adam).

I was attempting to use his definition of ape, but yes, we're primates, part of the family Hominidae.
I would never use a creationist's definition in these discussions. No reason to lend incorrect definitions any validity...

No. Humans are God's children. We inherited our DNA and ERVs from prehistoric people, whose origin was in water on the 5th Day. Genesis 6:4 That's because Adam sinned and lost his image like Jesus and was found in the image of sinful flesh, identical to prehistoric man.
On this Earth, Noah's grandsons had NO other Humans to marry so they married and produced today's Humans with the prehistoric people who were already here when the Ark arrived. That's God's Truth which agrees with Science, History and Genetics.
