Hey guys, my name is Hannah, and I'm 19 years old! I am just beginning to re-commit my life to Christ after 10 long years of spiritual blindness. The reason why I came here was for advice on how to overcome scrupulosity, or more specifically fear of having blasphemed against the Holy Ghost. I have another thread that discusses my fears, so feel free to respond or yell at me at your own will, haha!
I am hoping that by responding to threads and posting some of my own, I can speed up my journey to developing my faith. Thanks for all your support! I can't PM anybody just yet but please feel free to start a conversation with me! I LOVE talking about religion

Catholic BUT I'm just adding the Catholic stuff to all the Protestant beliefs I completely agree with. For example, Catholics believe that salvation is achieved through good works, but I believe it's the other way around: that good works are a consequence of salvation.

Your words reminded me of Act 3:19 "Repent, then, and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped out, that times of refreshing may come from the Lord." 1 John 1:9 "if we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness." And Psalm 103:12 "as far as the east is from the west, so far has he removed our transgressions from us." If you have truly repented with intent to change, try to forgive yourself as well. If God removes sin from us, we also have to let go of it. Prayers for peace and self-forgiveness for you.
