or God gives us a soul so we arent a zombie?

I would have to say that the bible supports that without a spirit we would die: Genesis 25:8 says gave up the ghost, Acts 5:10 in the KJV says "yielded up the ghost" because Sapphira lied to the Holy Spirit.

I think the reproductive system was created to reproduce. It is quite clear in Genesis what the intention of the reproductive system is. To be fruitful, multiple and replenish the earth. Not the creation of the soul.

A soul is a person (a living being) and yes God gave mankind pro-creation ... the ability to reproduce souls ... living beings - persons ... people.

Genesis 2 - NIV

7Then the Lord God formed a man from the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living being.

KJV

7And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.

Strongs - Hebrew

nephesh: a soul, living being, life, self, person, desire, passion, appetite, emotion
Original Word: נֶפֶשׁ
Part of Speech: Noun Feminine
Transliteration: nephesh
Phonetic Spelling: (neh'-fesh)
Definition: a soul, living being, life, self, person, desire, passion, appetite, emotion

Animals are a soul/living being/nephesh too. They just aren’t made in the image & likeness of God.

If human cloning is possible, there could be an infinite amount of human souls

It's not possible. They cannot create life, only God can do that. Cloning is just pseudo $cientist garbage. Don't believe the marketing "so called" $cience.

This is how they confuse the masses:

Cloning is a real thing.

Will cloning of humans ever be possible? I don't know.

If it was possible, though, it would merely create an identical twin with a different age.

So God puts a soul so we arent a zombie?

Genesis 20:18, Genesis 29:31, Genesis 30:2, Genesis 30:22, 1 Samuel 1:5, Job 3:11 talks about God's power to open and close the womb of it's operation. I don't believe a body from the elements of the earth and even the mother's womb come with a spirit built into it. So then someone has to put that spirit into the body. And that would be God in my opinion. And the bible seems to support that idea.

Ecclesiastes 11:5, Isaiah 44:2, Isaiah 44:24, Isaiah 46:3 suggests that some don't understand the spirit of such things, but that God forms people in the womb.

As far is being a Zombie, I think the point is that when God closes the womb, there are miscarriages.

Why do people have babies from out of wedlock relationships, then?

This is my understanding of the spirit, soul and body from some extensive study awhile back.

Body is the flesh, the matter, the natural part of us. Same as animals. Simple enough. Made in God's image.

Spirit is the eternal part of us made in God's image and likeness (we are a spirit like Him)

Soul is interesting. It is different than body and spirit. The body and spirit are tangible things. The soul is an abstract thing. The description God gave me: The soul is that which makes you alive. Think of it like borders of a state or country. They are an abstract thing that brings definition to a real tangible thing. There are no actual black lines on the ground, they are a construct to help define the border between things. Think of the ground as the body, the air space above it as the spirit and the borders as the soul. The soul defines the border between dead and alive.

On Earth what makes us a living soul is a spirit residing in a body. This is how/why the flesh and the spirit struggle for control of the soul. Animals have a body, but no spirit so what makes them a living soul is their body. When we are in eternity and no longer have bodies, our spirit is what will make us a living soul.

So, with that in mind God created Adams body, He breathed His breath (spirit) into Adam and he became a living soul. God put into Adam's body DNA. The DNA of Adam carried with it all the information needed for every single person that would come after him (amazing when you think about it). Natural things are reflections of the spirit. The spirit works the same as the body. When God breathed into Adam He didn't just breath life into Adam, He breathed life into all mankind. That life would be passed on through reproduction the same way it is in the flesh.

Think about it, have you ever heard of God coming down and breathing on anyone else to make them alive? He doesn't have to because He already did it. He is so all-knowing that when He breathed into Adam, He knew you and was creating you at the same time.

As for clones, if we made a human clone would it be a living soul (body & spirit)? Yes. It has already been done, by God, when He made Eve. Eve was taken directly from Adam's DNA, technically she was a clone of Adam with a chromosome flipped.

God created a natural (biological) and spiritual process when He created Adam & Eve. He had a perfect plan for that process, it was called marriage and family. Sin corrupted that process, but God must still honor it the same way He still honors gravity. Because He is the same yesterday, today and forever. Man has found many ways to corrupt the process God created (sex outside of marriage, abortion, someday perhaps cloning) but the the process will continue to work because God created it.

(that turned out way longer than intended... but I told you I studied it extensively, lol)

true - we and they both have the breath of life but humans are made in the image and likeness of God.
