Anyway the last full working day has gone well so far. We're in tomorrow and for an hour or two on Christmas Eve...

Christmas Eve ?? Goodness.

Though I well remember being totally stunned , not long after we moved to Scotland and I was working in a biscuit Factory [ and they were very very good biscuits too

] and found I had to work on Christmas Day - for the complete 8 hour shift .

I really didn't believe it - thought they were kidding me - but they weren't

Now that was harsh. We just clock in, have a chat for an hour and leave.

I suspect I'll try and get an early night - Church tomorrow as usual and I think it's going to be busy thereafter , 1 Service only on Sunday and then 2 on Monday as we can't use our little Chapel on Tuesday morning
