Did you not hear? The left does not have to be civil because they lost the election and now they don't have any power! But if they win back the power, does that mean those on the right can be uncivil? Can we scream at Democrat Senators and staff in restaurants? Some people are looking forward to that.

Well from looking through Colter's article it makes it out like the point is to showcase that the "left-wing" thugs are either much less malicious & violent or just less competent in their destructiveness than right-wing thugs. I mean, they've included things like CNN saying (correctly) that diners have the right to confront Republicans in public spaces like restaurants. Then it cites vandalism where nobody got hurt. There's no proof that the vandals were left-wing.
The other thing is that it's head up the rear end stupid is that the article is making the assumption that any boo boo that happens to anybody who is on the right wing must be the fault of somebody on the left. It's just about as tone deaf as you can get to make that assumption right on the heels of the synagogue massacre. That terrorist is a critic of Trump's but certainly not left-wing; he was prolific on right-wing sites & his beef with Trump appears to be that he didn't think Trump was far enough on the right.

Just to glance at the list, many of the cases have unknown suspects, or are people just claiming that something happened, or are just people hypothesizing.
At any rate, it’s certainly nothing new. Obama got plenty of death threats. So did Bush. So did Clinton. So did Reagan.

Yes, Presidents Obama, Bush, Clinton & Reagan all got death threats. But were any of them ever politely asked to leave a restaurant, without having to pay for their wine & appetizers they'd already enjoyed on account of the restaurant owner telling them that was on the house? Did they ever have their casual supper out at a restaurant interrupted by folks also dining there who dared to use their words to tell them how they felt? Think of the Trump Republicans!

Thank you, Colter, for once again doing a fine job validating my point. You seem to be under the impression that folks who disagree with you, well they just can't be on your side of things, they've got to belong to another tribe that's an opponent to yours.
I labeled myself honestly as a Republican & could not give a rat's behind if you don't believe that. It's just as silly as silly can get to think that pointing out the differences between folks being the recipient of bombs, of death threats isn't on par with folks having their suppers out at public restaurants interrupted by members of the public who are also dining there is being an apologist for the left.
Gracious, do you need new material. The election was 2 dang years ago. She won the popular vote, lost the election, everybody else including her got over that a long time ago. The only ones who appear to have not gotten over it are the Trump supporters who bring that up whenever their Donald has been criticized. I never supported Trump or Hillary. Both were terrible candidates.
Well, maybe you want to write about that in the thread started by a Trump supporter who wanted to talk about how it did have to do with him.

Socialism is a term that's almost lost all meaning at this point. I don't know of any major political party that wants the workers to control the means of production... you know, socialism. Now, if you mean things like Medicare-for-all and tuition free public college, then yes. And I'm proudly supportive of these ideas.

You made my point, the article I posted isn't comparing and contrasting bombs, murder and attacks on Republicans. Its >you< who herd something that wasn't said.
The attacks on Republicans, like congressmen getting shot at morning softball practice, have been going on since Trump was elected. Maybe you wouldn't mind having your tires slashed or harassed at the mall, others do.
