Melbourne consecration of bishop whose brother-bishop is her bishop brother
I find the dynamic between Kate and her brother particularly interesting (particularly because I know them both a little, though I know Kate better). He doesn't approve of the ordination of women, but is still able to offer personal support; which is such a lovely example.
I also find this appointment particularly timely because Kate's area of psychological expertise is in trauma recovery; and if there's one thing our church needs now it's leaders who have some insight into that!
