We've lost the earlier sun

I'm heading out soon to feed the car get a few things in at Tesco and go to Lidl for yummy fattening Greek goodies for Church

Well - that was a surprise !!

A shower that lasted about 10 mins - but the sound of the rain hitting on my porch roof was like thunder !! I've never heard rain like it !! The garden was simply running with water .

Good job it was short lived

I'm away now - a very early start tomorrow - I've to be at Church before 8am - and it's SATURDAY !! Goodness knows when I'll be home

Just back from our Baptism

Wonderful morning - nearly all the Community were there. Plenty of water in the stream but the slope down from the bank to the water was rather steep . Fr and Mel [ now called Ambrose ] had to tread very very carefully.

I've been sent a piccie , presumably from Belfast - I would describe the RC Priests vestments as ummm really not nice

Just back from Liturgy - it was a nice quiet one today and the guy who was Baptised yesterday received Eucharist today for the first time

Saw a lot of families on bikes heading to the centre of the Town when I was driving home

A bit gloomy here as well and again there's been rain overnight

very autumnal feeling this morning.

Just back from a very strange Liturgy . Today was the University Open Day so we couldn't have our post Liturgy Coffee etc in the Cafe as it was needed for the Open Day. Grrrh. But the real problem was the noise coming from the Big Church upstairs - drums music and general noise - very very strange and disruptive.
