That Utterance May Be Given To Us

Father in Heaven, Thank you for sending us the Perfect Teacher, the Great High Priest of Your Holy Church. His words are perfect and righteous in every way. He took on flesh and become Son of Man, He walked among us and taught all those who would hear His Word. He preached boldly the truth. His word is truth. We have all seen and experienced teachers of the Word, and preachers of the Gospel, whom lack that boldness and whom would rather teach a lesser gospel in order to fill pews and fill the collection plate. We have seen good men (and women) who were, and many whom still are, afraid to open their mouths to share God's Holy Word. We are ashamed when our words are not the right words with fearlessness in Your Truth. As Christians we are all called to preach the Gospel of The LORD. That includes all true believers, and especially those gifted to teach and preach. Pray that the Spirit of God will be upon us, all believers in the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and that His utterance may be given to us. In Jesus' Name. Amen.



A daily prayer that God would give "all true gospel preachers the right words and fearlessness whenever they open their mouths to preach or teach." (Ephesians 6:19-20)

O Lord my God, hear our prayers. We come before Thee on bended knee. Glory to the KING. Glory to the Heavens and God Almighty. Amen.

Father in Heaven, Suit us up, thy Christian Soldiers, into the Full Armor of God. Prepare us thusly and fearlessly unto thy service. In the power of the Holy Spirit. God's will be done, not ours, forever and again. In Jesus' name. Amen.


Ephesians 6:10-18

"10 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. 11 Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. 12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. 13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.

14 Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; 15 And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; 16 Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. 17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God: 18 Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;"

"18 Pray in the Spirit at all times, with every kind of prayer and petition. To this end, stay alert with all perseverance in your prayers for all the saints. 19 Pray also for me, that whenever I open my mouth, divine utterance may be given me, so that I will boldly make known the mystery of the gospel, 20 for which I am an ambassador in chains. Pray that I may proclaim it fearlessly, as I should." (Ephesians 6:18-20)
