Your Body is a Temple. Jesus lives inside of you. Spirits effect motivations. How is someone motivated and to what purpose? Someone who is of God's Spirit tends to think about God and God related things a lot. He is prone to God centric activities.
In the Book of Judges Israel was different from other Nations. Israel had no earthly king. God was their King. God ruled them through his Spirit. Your Body is a Temple. What Spirit is someone of? How are they motivated?
God is an outside influence or intelligence. We can say that God is like an AI, not that he is man made, but that he is outside, and that mankind are kind of like Robots without the lights on. Given someone has The Spirit of God, it is life changing. Before, they were on autopilot so to speak. With God's Spirit, they are alive inside, and living more to the fullest potential of their design.
God ruled Israel in the Book of Judges through his Spirit. Men would be meek before God, and accept God's Spirit. They may have become Bond Servant. God created us. He knows us. He has good plans for someone. (Jeremiah 29:11) Someone hearing the voice of God, and working in obedience, may, in time, become a Bond Servant.
A Prophet would be someone God spoke through. He may have been a Seer who could see into the Spiritual. In the Bible there are Books of The Prophets. God spoke through a variety of men separated by time and space. God's character and tone do not change through these books. This helps show The Power of the Holy Spirit.
Jesus Christ, as Prophet, as Son of God, and as God or The Lord, could not contradict The Prophets of the Bible, and did not. To contradict the Prophets would show that he was not any of the things listed previously. The Bible is The WORD of God. Someone may say "You have my Word" or "Take my word for it." Word is a promise and a reference to a man's honor and integrity. The Lord is a Man of Honor. He keeps his promises. God spoke and something was created.

When the Bible was put together, it was put together by a group of men with God's Spirit. They had a variety of Books and resources. Some of the books didn't make it. Why? They may have been exaggerated or wrong and/or not of The Spirit.
Apostle Paul was of The Spirit. Someone who claims to only follow Jesus, and follow Jesus over Paul would be false. That is a false person. He knows better then hundreds of years of Christians and scholars? By denying Paul, he is changing the character of God, and denying The Holy Spirit. Given someone claims "My Church is a New Testament Church," they have put stumbling blocks in front of their faces, and are blind. You read the New Testament from an Old Testament Understanding. Jesus could not, and did not contradict The Prophets.
A stumbling block could be a false idol. It is something someone loves more that God. Many of these stumbling blocks may be based on Ego and Pride. Someone who states that "I am not a fundamentalist" in a way that is disparaging to fundamentalist, may take pride in not being seen or labeled as a Fundamentalist, and he looks down at such people. He created a false Christ and a pagan form of Christianity by changing the religion and changing the character of God to differentiate himself. Someone around that person may be a false prophet, a false shepherd, and they are running based on ego and pride and hate. That is not The Spirit of God. God's plan is God's Kingdom, and we are to love our brothers and sister in Christ.
Most ideologies are Luciferian. They were built in Modernism. The Modern Era started roughly with the French Revolution and the Rights of Man, and ended with the fall of the Berlin Wall. Modernism is Luciferian. It is the idea that man can triumph and solve the world's problems outside of God. Many ideologies work to build a "Utopia" like "Utopia" Sir Thomas Moore. This Utopia often does not involve God or God's Kingdom. It is often an Atheistic Socialist State that denies the Book of Daniel, or it may be something like Hitler's SS working to create a form of Pre-Christian Paganism. Either way, they are both Luciferian and wrong. False ideologies are stumbling blocks. God's plan is God's Kingdom.
Dr. Jordan Peterson has been popular lately. He talks about Ideological Possession. Someone of a particular ideology tends to act in certain ways. They are motivated towards something, and they all tend to think alike. It is more than just ideological possession. Many of them may be possessed by a Spirit. Many times the Anti-Christ Spirit. Spirits effect motivations.
Armed with this knowledge, a Christian may be able to better grow in Faith, and work in God's plan for them.

- Son of man, these men have set up idols in their hearts and put wicked stumbling blocks before their faces. Should I let them inquire of me at all? (Ezekiel 14:3)
