CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

It's complicated.
I'm still trying to understand reality.
There are strong evidences for both globe and flat earth for instance, and very strong evidence the globers are lying... but no such evidences that the flatters are. I don't really care so much about what is as I do about knowing the truth of what is.
And with the "observer experiment", it seems mind over matter is the way things are... now if that is the case, both can exist simultaneously in separate but partially overlapping dimensions as far as I can guess. That would explain a lot of contradicting experiences I have had, including seeing UFOs, etc.
Science seems to have reached the ends of its conclusions and those conclusions are failing reality tests, thus quantum thinking, where an uncertainty principle is part of normal reality.
My belief in and relationship with God is certain, but my understanding of reality beyond that is subject to some uncertainty. I am comfortable being uncertain about reality as long as my connection to God is healthy. I learned to be that way from experience. He got my personal attention when I was 3&1/2 yrs old.
