Who will populate the Millennium?

(a) All believers both Old and New Testament?
(b) Those Gentile believers who were beheaded for Christ during the Millennium?
(c) Those Jewish and Gentile believers who were beheaded for Christ during the Millennium?
(d) The 24 elders?
(e) The 144,000?

Currently, I believe Jewish and Gentile believers in Christ who are beheaded for their Lord during the 7 year Tribulation will be physically resurrected to go through the Millennium (See Revelation 20:4). At the end of the Millennium, I believe the rest of the saints in Christ will then be resurrected physically. Those who live in the Millennium will be able to live, breath, eat, sleep, and have children. It will be a 1,000 year reign of Christ.

Side Note:

I believe the "rulers on the thrones" in the Millennium could either be:

(a) The 24 elders.
(b) A select few out of the 144,000.
(c) Jewish and Gentile Believers who were beheaded for Christ.

So if it is the 24 elders, then who are they? Well, I believe the clue to the 24 elder's identity is in Revelation 20. The 12 tribes of Israel and the 12 disciples are written on the holy city of New Jerusalem (See Revelation 20:10-14); Coincidence? Maybe. But it seems very likely they are the 24 elders. This would mean the 12 sons of Jacbo and the 12 disciples of Jesus (Matthias and not Judas) are the ruling 24 elders we see mentioned in Revelation.

Anyways, what is a mystery to me is the identity of the rulers mentioned in Revelation 20:4.
If you discover anything in God's Word, please let me know.

May God bless you all.
And please be well.

I am leaning towards the idea that the 144,000 will be Raptured during the Tribulation, and they will be the first fruits of the physical flesh and blood body type resurrection at the beginning of the Millennium. I believe it is possible that each Israelite tribe will elect a leader to rule a particular land (i.e. nation) for their tribe or people. Also, the Gentile believers who were beheaded for Christ could also start to form nations of their own, as well. These could be the Millennium rulers that John describes to us in Revelation 20:4.

While the following verse conveys a primary truth or point, I believe it has a secondary truth to it.

"So the last shall be first, and the first last..." (Matthew 20:16).

What secondary truth?

Well, I believe he that is resurrected spiritually first (Pre-Trib Rapture), will be resurrected bodily last (at the end of the Millennium) and he that is resurrected spiritually last (i.e. those in the Tribulation) will be resurrected bodily first (So as to go through the Millennium).

You missed the most obvious choice based on His own words in John chapter 5.

Joh 5:27 and has given Him authority to execute judgment also, because He is the Son of Man.
Joh 5:28 Do not marvel at this; for the hour is coming in which all who are in the graves will hear His voice
Joh 5:29 and come forth—those who have done good, to the resurrection of life, and those who have done evil, to the resurrection of condemnation.

Joh 5:30 I can of Myself do nothing. As I hear, I judge; and My judgment is righteous, because I do not seek My own will but the will of the Father who sent Me.

Christ will be the judge at the resurrection of "all" the dead, found at "the time of the judgment of the dead", in Revelation 11:18, which is also found in Revelation 20, since the Book of Revelation is not in chronological order.

I still do not see it as a contradiction with these verses in what I stated. Obviously there is a time gap between the resurrection of the saints in the Millennium and the resurrection of the wicked at the end of the Millennium. For Revelation 20:4-5 says.

4 "And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.
5 But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection." (Revelation 20:4-5).

Yet, I also believe the saints (Who were not beheaded for Christ during the Tribulation) will be resurrected at the End of the Millennium, too. This is the hour that I believe Jesus is talking about. Jesus is not referring to the 1st phase of the 1st Resurrection of the saints (Which is a resurrection of those who are beheaded for Christ during the Tribulation). They are a select special group of believers.

As for the chronology of Revelation:

Yes, I am aware that Revelation is not in chronological order. I did an extensive study on Revelation over several months in prayer and reading tons of articles on the subject. I kept re-arranging the chronology based on what Scripture said. Anyways, I created an End Times Chronology here at CF (Which includes the Pre-Trib Rapture, the 7 year Tribulation, Christ's 2nd Coming, the Millennium, the Judgment, and the Eternal New Earth).

You can view that here (if your interested).

None of the above works unless you deal with "the time of the judgment of the dead" in Revelation 11:18, which occurs right after the 7th trumpet, which is the last trumpet in the Bible.

You cannot ignore it to make your doctrine work.

There is no trip to heaven in 1 Thessalonians chapters 4 or 5.
The timing of the resurrection event at the end of chapter 4 is revealed at the beginning of chapter 5, on the Day of the Lord, when He comes as a thief.
This is confirmed by the words "we" and "sleep" in 1 Thessalonians 5:10.

There is no 7 year tribulation in the Bible. It is only 3 1/2 years.

The New Covenant promised to Israel and Judah in Jeremiah 31:31-34 is found fulfilled by Christ in Hebrews 8:6-13, and is specifically applied to the Church in Hebrews 12:22-24, and 2 Corinthians 3:6-8.

The New Covenant is "everlasting" in Hebrews 13:20.
Therefore, the New Covenant does not end before the Second Coming of Christ.

The New Covenant has made the Old Covenant "obsolete" in Hebrews 8:13.
Therefore, God is not going back to the Sinai Covenant during a future time.

There will not be a future time when modern Jews will be saved outside of the New Covenant Church, based on Paul's words in Romans chapter 11. Paul said the branches broken off can be grafted back through faith in Christ. The Olive Tree is a symbol of the New Covenant Church made up of Israelites and Gentiles grafted together into one tree.

There is no Plan B of salvation during a future time.

Jer_31:31 "Behold, the days are coming, says the LORD, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah—

Mat_26:28 For this is My blood of the new covenant, which is shed for many for the remission of sins.

Mar_14:24 And He said to them, "This is My blood of the new covenant, which is shed for many.

Luk_22:20 Likewise He also took the cup after supper, saying, "This cup is the new covenant in My blood, which is shed for you.

1Co_11:25 In the same manner He also took the cup after supper, saying, "This cup is the new covenant in My blood. This do, as often as you drink it, in remembrance of Me."

2Co_3:6 who also made us sufficient as ministers of the new covenant, not of the letter but of the Spirit; for the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life.

Heb_8:8 Because finding fault with them, He says: "BEHOLD, THE DAYS ARE COMING, SAYS THE LORD, WHEN I WILL MAKE A NEW COVENANT WITH THE HOUSE OF ISRAEL AND WITH THE HOUSE OF JUDAH—

Heb_8:13 In that He says, "A NEW COVENANT," He has made the first obsolete. Now what is becoming obsolete and growing old is ready to vanish away.

Heb_9:15 And for this reason He is the Mediator of the new covenant, by means of death, for the redemption of the transgressions under the first covenant, that those who are called may receive the promise of the eternal inheritance.

Heb_12:24 to Jesus the Mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling that speaks better things than that of Abel.

Yeah, ironically, I actually do not like to argue Eschatology. But one thing I will say is that you have the most to lose by not believing in the Pre-Trib Rapture. The Mid Trib, Pre-Wrath, and Post Trib views take place when tragedy already strikes. There are signs that make it obvious. So you can be prepared when it happens. But the Son of Man will come in an hour that you will not expect.

Anyways, who are the list of people you think will go through the Millennium again?
I did ot catch that part.

At one point I thought it was the small children who were present at the Second Coming that would be the mortals going into the Millennium.

However, I now understand that based on 2 Thessalonians chapter 1 and 2 Peter chapter 3, the fire comes at the Second Coming of Christ.
Christ will not rule over a world where sin and death remains after He returns. The potter destroys the flawed pottery with the rod of iron, based on Psalm 2.

The "first resurrection" is the first resurrection found in John chapter 5, at John 5:24.
It is the process of being transferred from death to life, upon faith in Christ.

The "second resurrection" found in John chapter 5 is at John 5:27-30.
It is the bodily resurrection and judgment of "all" the dead.

I like the idea of a Pretrib removal of the Church.
The only problem is that it is not found in 1 Thessalonians chapters 4 and 5.

Once a person comes to understand that the New Covenant promised to Israel and Judah in Jeremiah 31:31-34 is found fulfilled by Christ at Hebrews 8:6-13, and is specifically applied to the Church at Hebrews 12:22-24, and 2 Corinthians 3:6-8, the whole pretrib/ Dispensational system of theology falls apart.

I believe that you will enjoy what near death experiencer Howard Storm was shown about the millennium.

I think what he shown fits very well with Isaiah, Jeremiah, Ezekiel and the minor prophets.
