Thanks for replying, that is what I want to believe (which I appreciate is a little risky!). If as you say creation has been journeying since it began, and through grace is being guided to ever higher forms of beauty, how do you perceive the Garden of Eden? What does it represent? A state in which people are not exposed to the rawer elements of nature? And how do you see natural evil (natural disasters, disease etc.) fitting into this paradigm? Thanks again!

A few of us are forming an online Bible study. We have a teacher but now need interested participants. This will be a small group of 8 people.

If you want to be involved, start a conversation with me, so I can give you the details.

God bless

I'm interested.

Are we talking about a Skype-based study or something like that?

Pedrito has taken part in two international Skype-based Bible studies. One had a teacher as such, and one had a rotating leadership, the function of which was to keep order by sequencing the queue of people who wanted to say something (as opposed to restricting the type of questions posed and comments made).

Pedrito found the first to be somewhat boring – simply a rehash of existing knowledge (which was all many of the participants seemed to want). He retired from that study after a while.

The second study was (and still is) amazing. Verse-by-verse, with an openness to acknowledge what each verse actually says, as opposed to what it may be said to mean. Scary stuff. But enlightening.

Pedrito is always open to learning by being open to considering ideas from people from different backgrounds and perspectives.

Hence Pedrito is requesting information about the mechanism of the study, and the (likely) subject matter.

Thanks.
