Are Police Racist?

No.
Being you used a broad encompassing identifier as to indicate all police.
Look, if someone points a gun at a cop and pulls the trigger , misses a kill shot, and is then shot and killed themselves they're not a victim of racism. They're not a victim of anything.

They are about as racist as they are sexist, for charging men with 98 % of all rapes.

Are police racist?
Here's one way to find out: When you're next to a police car and the light turns green; peel rubber and take off as fast as you can. I think you'll find most of them want to race. They'll even radio other police racists to join in on the fun.

I've never colored my skin so I don't know.

Umm.... no they are not. Are their racists in the police ranks? Yep, there are racists in the military, in the house of representatives, in dentistry, in McDonalds and in the Catholic Church and the Assemblies of God. There are racists in the inner cities and and in San Francisco. Racism has not been stamped out. But police in general are not racist, and in general neither are the Catholic believers or dentists or those living in San Francisco.

Im sure there is some racism in all depts, just as their is in all circles of society as a whole. I mean, President Obama literally saved the US from complete financial collapse and put hundreds of thousands of rednecks to work building schools, bridges, firestations, courthouses etc......but to those same caucasian masons, carpenters and ironworkers etc, he was simply the %$#^% in chief, though without his federal loans to the states, they'd been in the bread line with the rest of the tradesmen who essentially stalled to a halt after black Tuesday in Sept 08.

However, my opinion of the police, particularly with the great hate for Pres Obama within suburban America were urged to put returning troops back to work upon their return from the Middle East.

Having been to Somalia during the BlackHawk down situation, and having been sent in as a stabilizing force in a very unstable Mogadishu, I know firsthand the fear of being killed at the hands of a perceived enemy.

Now......give little training to a man who's been shot at a few dozens times over the past 2 yrs, and doesnt even know those neighhbors he's being sent to serve, and every banana and cap pistol is gonna look like a Kalishnikoff, and that's a recipe for disaster, BLACK WHITE BLUE GREEN OR PURPLE.
