Baby boomer nostalgia thread

I don't doubt it.

I remember TV antennaes on every house and every back yard with clothes lines .. There's a football term clothesline where as they run by you stick your arm out and catch them under the neck .. And I've seen drawers hanging on clothes lines big enough to sail a boat My grandma was 110 lbs and had panties on the line so big it was unbelievable

One phone in the house usually hung in the kitchen, rotary dial, 9' cord so you could have a "private" phone call by taking the phone out the back door or into the pantry.

I so miss stereo stores with aisles and aisles of nothing but stereo components...

And record stores, browsing through the bins. I pity kids today who will never know that pleasure...

We didn't have one, but I thought those entertainment systems that looked like a credenza, with the TV in the middle, the record player at one end, tucked under the top, and radio at the other end with speakers flanking the TV was "very cool".

Me too. Have it as a nice furniture looking piece....not just a huge hunk of plastic like they are now.
