Peace unto you.

The mystery of iniquity is already at work in every “church” gathering.

The man of sin is the son of perdition…the son of destruction… and has already been given over to the destruction of the flesh and those who are sitting together with him are perishing along with them. They defile the flesh…the mortal flesh.

Through covetousness (the abomination of DESOLATION) do they make merchandise of us. Their judgement does not linger and their condemnation does not slumber as they are actively perishing away from this earth. They are going down to the grave without His life being made manifest and they are taking those who sit together and support them down with them.

2 Peter 2:1-3 KJV
(1) But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction.
(2) And many shall follow their pernicious ways; by reason of whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of.
(3) And through covetousness shall they with feigned words make merchandise of you: whose judgment now of a long time lingereth not, and their damnation slumbereth not.

The life of Jesus is not being made manifest in the mortal bodies of any church gathering as ungodly men have slipped in “unawares” and are turning the grace of our God into “lasciviousness” and denying the only Lord God and our Lord Jesus Christ. They are “antichrist” as they prevent the life of Jesus (the Son of man) from appearing in the mortal flesh of anyone that they are deceiving…..and all of this for money. They follow in the footsteps of Judas and come to take the “daily” sacrifice out of our lives so that His life is never made manifest in our mortal flesh ( the Son of man is betrayed into the hands of sinners). Woe unto those who betray the Son of man.

Jude 1:3-5 KJV
(3) Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common salvation, it was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort you that ye should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints.
(4) For there are certain men crept in unawares, who were before of old ordained to this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness, and denying the only Lord God, and our Lord Jesus Christ.

Believing is DOING His commandment to have love for one another. Those who become forgetful in DOING are being destroyed by the false prophets that lead them astray into their church bondage of the doctrines and commandments of men where they make money from those they are deceiving. If we sit together with them, we are committing “fornication”. We become “one flesh” with them.

(5) I will therefore put you in remembrance, though ye once knew this, how that the Lord, having saved the people out of the land of Egypt, afterward destroyed them that believed not.

They come forth and speak “great swelling” words of emptiness towards those who are just escaping the pollutions of the world (“Egypt) through the knowledge of our Lord. They allure through the lusts of the flesh with much “wantonness” those who are just escaping.

2 Peter 2:17-22 KJV
(17) These are wells without water, clouds that are carried with a tempest; to whom the mist of darkness is reserved for ever.
(18) For when they speak great swelling words of vanity, they allure through the lusts of the flesh, through much wantonness, those that were clean escaped from them who live in error.

They want to bring us into their church bondage to keep their church dogmas (the handwriting of ordinances) where MANY are setting aside the commandment of God to have love for one another and serve the doctrines and commandments of men instead.

They worship Him in vain by teaching the doctrines and commandments of men that are not saving the mortal flesh of anyone as MANY are perishing by the using of them.

(19) While they promise them liberty, they themselves are the servants of corruption: for of whom a man is overcome, of the same is he brought in bondage.
(20) For if after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, they are again entangled therein, and overcome, the latter end is worse with them than the beginning.
(21) For it had been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than, after they have known it, to turn from the holy commandment delivered unto them.
(22) But it is happened unto them according to the true proverb, The dog is turned to his own vomit again; and the sow that was washed to her wallowing in the mire.

These men have slipped in unawares and their presence is according to the working of Satan with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that are perishing from off this earth because they received not the love of the Truth that they might be saved.

If they love the Way of righteousness, then they would not have turned away from the Holy Commandment (to have love for one another) that was delivered by the Lord Jesus Christ unto us to KEEP.

2 Thessalonians 2:9-12 KJV
(9) Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders,
(10) And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved
.
(11) And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:
(12) That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

The thief only comes to steal, to kill and to destroy. He comes deceptively preaching the doctrines and commandments of men in order to get paid rather than work with his own hands in order to support his own necessities. All of those who are being deceived by him are being destroyed as the thief is being destroyed himself.

John 10:8-10 KJV
(8) All that ever came before me are thieves and robbers: but the sheep did not hear them.
(9) I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture.
(10) The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.

They speak feigned words in order to lead us astray. They make merchandise of us. We must not sit together with those who are called “brothers” but are covetous.

Deuteronomy 24:7 KJV
(7) If a man be found stealing any of his brethren of the children of Israel, and maketh merchandise of him, or selleth him; then that thief shall die; and thou shalt put evil away from among you.

Their judgment is not lingering nor is their condemnation as they are actively perishing away from off this earth for such things. The life of Jesus is not being made manifest thereby saving them. Instead, they are perishing from off this earth under the wrath of God and they are in the “dark” about His judgment upon them.

2 Peter 2:3 KJV
(3) And through covetousness shall they with feigned words make merchandise of you: whose judgment now of a long time lingereth not, and their damnation slumbereth not.

We must not keep company with them. We must put away from among ourselves that wicked person…..putting away evil from among us.

1 Corinthians 5:9-13 KJV
(9) I wrote unto you in an epistle not to company with fornicators:
(10) Yet not altogether with the fornicators of this world, or with the covetous, or extortioners, or with idolaters; for then must ye needs go out of the world.
(11) But now I have written unto you not to keep company, if any man that is called a brother be a fornicator, or covetous, or an idolater, or a railer, or a drunkard, or an extortioner; with such an one no not to eat.
(12) For what have I to do to judge them also that are without? do not ye judge them that are within?
(13) But them that are without God judgeth. Therefore put away from among yourselves that wicked person.

Their job is to catch and destroy those who receive not the love of the truth so that they might be saved. These “natural brute beasts” are MADE TO TAKE and destroy those who become forgetful in having brotherly love as they beguile the unstable souls and MANY are following their pernicious (ruinous) ways.

The destroyers themselves are being destroyed as they utterly perish from off this earth in their own corruption.

2 Peter 2:12-15 KJV
(12) But these, as natural brute beasts, made to be taken and destroyed, speak evil of the things that they understand not; and shall utterly perish in their own corruption;
(13) And shall receive the reward of unrighteousness, as they that count it pleasure to riot in the day time. Spots they are and blemishes, sporting themselves with their own deceivings while they feast with you;
(14) Having eyes full of adultery, and that cannot cease from sin; beguiling unstable souls: an heart they have exercised with covetous practices; cursed children:
(15) Which have forsaken the right way, and are gone astray, following the way of Balaam the son of Bosor, who loved the wages of unrighteousness;

These men are the spiritual “Amaleks”…meaning “people who lick”…as they flatter us with their tongues speaking good words and fair speeches in order to lead astray many who have become “weary” in well doing (having love for one another).

They come forth to meet us just as we are escaping the pollutions of the world…”Egypt”. They meet us by the “Way”…the Way of righteousness…in order to cut us off from the road that leads to His eternal life in this earth.

Deuteronomy 25:17-19 KJV
(17) Remember what Amalek did unto thee by the way, when ye were come forth out of Egypt;
(18) How he met thee by the way, and smote the hindmost of thee, even all that were feeble behind thee, when thou wast faint and weary; and he feared not God.
(19) Therefore it shall be, when the LORD thy God hath given thee rest from all thine enemies round about, in the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee for an inheritance to possess it, that thou shalt blot out the remembrance of Amalek from under heaven; thou shalt not forget it.

Let us not become weary in well doing. If we love our neighbor as ourselves, then we “do well”.

James 2:8 KJV
(8) If ye fulfil the royal law according to the scripture, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself, ye do well:

These natural “brute” ( irrational) beasts walk after their own ungodly lusts. They deny that Jesus IS COMING in our mortal flesh which gives us His eternal life in the here and now. They scoff: “where is the promise of His coming?” Where is the manifestation of the Lord’s life in the mortal flesh of anyone?

2 Peter 3:1-4 KJV
(1) This second epistle, beloved, I now write unto you; in both which I stir up your pure minds by way of remembrance
:

They do not remember the commandment of the original apostles of the Lord and Savior.

(2) That ye may be mindful of the words which were spoken before by the holy prophets, and of the commandment of us the apostles of the Lord and Saviour:
(3) Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts,
(4) And saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation.

The “commandment” of the apostles is to work with our own hands to support our own earthly necessities just as the apostles of the Lord and Savior did. They made themselves an example for us to follow them in this. They did not eat any man’s bread for nothing but worked with labor and travail night and day so that they might not be chargeable to anyone.

2 Thessalonians 3:7-15 KJV
(7) For yourselves know how ye ought to follow us: for we behaved not ourselves disorderly among you;
(8) Neither did we eat any man's bread for nought; but wrought with labour and travail night and day, that we might not be chargeable to any of you:
(9) Not because we have not power, but to make ourselves an ensample unto you to follow us.
(10) For even when we were with you, this we commanded you, that if any would not work, neither should he eat.

The scoffers will continue to walk disorderly after their own lusts. They will continue to preach things that they ought not be for money’s sake rather than quit stealing and work with their own hands to support themselves.

(11) For we hear that there are some which walk among you disorderly, working not at all, but are busybodies.

They are counseled to hear what the Spirit is saying and be quiet in their response as they are commanded and exhorted to work and eat their OWN bread.

(12) Now them that are such we command and exhort by our Lord Jesus Christ, that with quietness they work, and eat their own bread.
(13) But ye, brethren, be not weary in well doing.

But the scoffers shall continue to walk disorderly after their lusts for money’s sake .

We are commanded not to keep company with those who will not obey the word by this letter. In doing so, we are not to treat them as an enemy but admonish them as brothers. We are not be weary in “well doing”…having love for others.

(14) And if any man obey not our word by this epistle, note that man, and have no company with him, that he may be ashamed.
(15) Yet count him not as an enemy, but admonish him as a brother.

They walk disorderly and not followers together of Paul (who worked with his own hands to support his own necessities as a tentmaker). We have them (the original apostles of the Lord who worked day and night so as not to be chargeable to any) as an example.

Philippians 3:17-21 KJV
(17) Brethren, be followers together of me, and mark them which walk so as ye have us for an ensample.

Neither did we eat any man's bread for nought; but wrought with labour and travail night and day, that we might not be chargeable to any of you: Not because we have not power, but to make ourselves an ensample unto you to follow us.

But MANY are walking as the enemies of the cross of Christ as they are preventing His “daily” sacrifice from being kept in those who they are deceiving in their church gatherings.

(18) (For many walk, of whom I have told you often, and now tell you even weeping, that they are the enemies of the cross of Christ:

The natural brute beasts end is destruction as they seek after the earthly things (what to eat, what to drink, what to wear).

(19) Whose end is destruction, whose God is their belly, and whose glory is in their shame, who mind earthly things.)

They have no understanding as their minds have been blinded to the good news of Christ (by the “god of this world”…their belly that they are really serving for) who shall change our mortal, humiliated-by-sin bodies to be fashioned like unto His.

(20) For our conversation is in heaven; from whence also we look for the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ:
(21) Who shall change our vile body, that it may be fashioned like unto his glorious body, according to the working whereby he is able even to subdue all things unto himself.

Paul did not shun to declare unto us all of the counsel of God.

Acts 20:26-35 KJV
(26) Wherefore I take you to record this day, that I am pure from the blood of all men.
(27) For I have not shunned to declare unto you all the counsel of God.
(28) Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which he hath purchased with his own blood.

(29) For I know this, that after my departing shall grievous wolves enter in among you, not sparing the flock.
(30) Also of your own selves shall men arise, speaking perverse things, to draw away disciples after them.
(31) Therefore watch, and remember, that by the space of three years I ceased not to warn every one night and day with tears.
(32) And now, brethren, I commend you to God, and to the word of his grace, which is able to build you up, and to give you an inheritance among all them which are sanctified.
(33) I have coveted no man's silver, or gold, or apparel.

His hands did minister unto his own necessities …and we are to be followers together with him in this (and the rest of the apostles who did so). They are the example that we are to follow.

(34) Yea, ye yourselves know, that these hands have ministered unto my necessities, and to them that were with me.

Paul showed us all things….how so laboring (with our own hands to support our own necessities rather than preaching for a paycheck) we ought to support the “weak”. The outside world blasphemes His name and the gospel when they see the preaching for money….taking advantage of the flock.

It is more blessed to give than to receive.

(35) I have shewed you all things, how that so labouring ye ought to support the weak, and to remember the words of the Lord Jesus, how he said, It is more blessed to give than to receive.

Let us hear the command of the apostles through the Lord and work with our own hands for our own earthly necessities so that we may truly be able to preach the sincere Word of God to those who need to hear it.

We are to hear and be found seeking first the kingdom of God and His righteousness….and all of the earthly things shall be added unto us.

Matthew 6:31-34 KJV
(31) Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed?
(32) (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things.
(33) But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
(34) Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.

Let us hear and not sin…speaking evil against what we hear. Let him that “steals” (preaching deceptively for a paycheck) steal no more…but instead labor working with our own hand that thing which is good.

Ephesians 4:26-28 KJV
(26) Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath:
(27) Neither give place to the devil.

(28) Let him that stole steal no more: but rather let him labour, working with his hands the thing which is good, that he may have to give to him that needeth
.

Let us hear and “do well” when we hear the Spirit speaking to us as men speak as they are moved by the Holy Spirit. Let not the “sun” go down upon our wrath.

2 Peter 1:19-21 KJV
(19) We have also a more sure word of prophecy; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts:
(20) Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation.
(21) For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost
.

We are to “do well” and be accepted. We are to rule over the sin that so easily wants to come out of our mouths when we hear something that we do not agree with or do not want to hear. If we do not “do well”, then sin lies at the door of our mouths.

Cain let sin rule over him. Cain was a “tiller of the ground” as he minded earthly things.

Genesis 4:1-10 KJV
(1) And Adam knew Eve his wife; and she conceived, and bare Cain, and said, I have gotten a man from the LORD.
(2) And she again bare his brother Abel. And Abel was a keeper of sheep, but Cain was a tiller of the ground.
(3) And in process of time it came to pass, that Cain brought of the fruit of the ground an offering unto the LORD.

But Abel sought first the kingdom of God and His righteousness.

(4) And Abel, he also brought of the firstlings of his flock and of the fat thereof. And the LORD had respect unto Abel and to his offering:

The wrath of man does not work the righteousness of God. Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath: Neither give place to the devil.

(5) But unto Cain and to his offering he had not respect. And Cain was very wroth, and his countenance fell.
(6) And the LORD said unto Cain, Why art thou wroth? and why is thy countenance fallen?
(7) If thou doest well, shalt thou not be accepted? and if thou doest not well, sin lieth at the door. And unto thee shall be his desire, and thou shalt rule over him.

Let us not think of our brother who speaks what he hears the Spirit saying a “fool” or an “empty head”. “Abel” means “empty, vain.” We "slay" other men made in the image of God by calling them "fools" for what they speak.

(8) And Cain talked with Abel his brother: and it came to pass, when they were in the field, that Cain rose up against Abel his brother, and slew him.
(9) And the LORD said unto Cain, Where is Abel thy brother? And he said, I know not: Am I my brother's keeper?
(10) And he said, What hast thou done? the voice of thy brother's blood crieth unto me from the ground.

We are to hear and be swift to hear and slow to speak and slow to wrath.

James 1:16-26 KJV
(16) Do not err, my beloved brethren.
(17) Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.
(18) Of his own will begat he us with the word of truth, that we should be a kind of firstfruits of his creatures.
(19) Wherefore, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath:

The wrath of man does not work the righteousness of God.

(20) For the wrath of man worketh not the righteousness of God.

Instead of acting out in wrath, Let us "do well" and be accepted

(21) Wherefore lay apart all filthiness and superfluity of naughtiness, and receive with meekness the engrafted word, which is able to save your souls.
(22) But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.
(23) For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer, he is like unto a man beholding his natural face in a glass:
(24) For he beholdeth himself, and goeth his way, and straightway forgetteth what manner of man he was.
(25) But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed.

If we do not well, then sin lies at the door of our mouths as we are tempted to speak evil against what we hear and those who preach it (calling them "fools"). There is no respect for the “offerings” of the man that speaks evil as that man’s religion is vain.

(26) If any man among you seem to be religious, and bridleth not his tongue, but deceiveth his own heart, this man's religion is vain.

ALL that are in the “graves” that men have set up (where they are dead in trespasses and sins in their churches) shall hear His voice. They will hear the Spirit of Truth speaking to them as He opens up our understanding to the Scriptures.

How shall religious men respond to the hearing of the Truth? If a man seems to be religious and does not bridle his tongue, then that man’s religion is in vain. He is not found written in the book of life as he will continue to do evil willfully towards the hearing of His voice after being reminded three times to have love for another.

John 5:26-31 KJV
(26) For as the Father hath life in himself; so hath he given to the Son to have life in himself;
(27) And hath given him authority to execute judgment also, because he is the Son of man.
(28) Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming, in the which all that are in the graves shall hear his voice,

Some shall come forth and will DO good unto the resurrection of life in the here and now as they will hear and believe. Faith is active…it is doing well according to our faith. Good works manifests our faith. Faith without good works is dead. These “works” are His works of righteousness and not our own.

Some will do evil against what they will hear the Spirit saying. It will not align with their own thoughts and ways…nor with their father’s religion…nor with their denominational teachings and commandments. They will speak evil of what they hear in defense of man’s words, teachings and comandments.

To those who are contentious and do not obey the Truth (have love for one another) but obey unrighteousness, indignation and wrath. Tribulation and anguish shall be upon every soul who does evil.

(29) And shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation.

As He hears, He judges and His judgment is just.

(30) I can of mine own self do nothing: as I hear, I judge: and my judgment is just; because I seek not mine own will, but the will of the Father which hath sent me.
(31) If I bear witness of myself, my witness is not true.

He forgives us of all of our “trespasses” in our churches….the keeping of the handwriting of church ordinances (dogmas)…where people set aside the command to have love for one another in order to keep the doctrines and commandments of men.

Colossians 2:13-23 KJV
(13) And you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, hath he quickened together with him, having forgiven you all trespasses;
(14) Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross;
(15) And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it.
(16) Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days:
(17) Which are a shadow of things to come; but the body is of Christ.

Men wrest the Scriptures to their own destruction as they INTRUDE into those things that they have not seen. They wrest their commandments of men from the words of the angels (Moses and the prophets) of which they do not understand.

(18) Let no man beguile you of your reward in a voluntary humility and worshipping of angels, intruding into those things which he hath not seen, vainly puffed up by his fleshly mind,
(19) And not holding the Head, from which all the body by joints and bands having nourishment ministered, and knit together, increaseth with the increase of God.
(20) Wherefore if ye be dead with Christ from the rudiments of the world, why, as though living in the world, are ye subject to ordinances,
(21) (Touch not; taste not; handle not;
(22) Which all are to perish with the using after the commandments and doctrines of men?
(23) Which things have indeed a shew of wisdom in will worship, and humility, and neglecting of the body; not in any honour to the satisfying of the flesh.

All those who are in the “graves” of fleshly-thinking men shall hear His voice. To those who by patient continuance in well doing seek for glory and immortality, eternal life. They will hear and be found “watching”…awake to His righteousness. These are His works of righteousness and not our own. Seek first the kingdom of God and HIS righteousness as He will render to every man according to what his works shall be toward the hearing of His voice. As He hears, He judges and His judgment is righteous.

Romans 2:5-10 KJV
(5) But after thy hardness and impenitent heart treasurest up unto thyself wrath against the day of wrath and revelation of the righteous judgment of God
;

He will render to every man according to his DEEDS…works. Faith without good works is dead and will not alone save us. We must be found “watching”…awake to His righteousness especially when the Lord comes to open up our minds to the Scriptures.

(6) Who will render to every man according to his deeds:
(7) To them who by patient continuance in well doing seek for glory and honour and immortality, eternal life:
(8) But unto them that are contentious, and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness, indignation and wrath,
(9) Tribulation and anguish, upon every soul of man that doeth evil, of the Jew first, and also of the Gentile;
(10) But glory, honour, and peace, to every man that worketh good, to the Jew first, and also to the Gentile:

The Lord comes to open up our understanding to the Scriptures so that we may know Him who is true. He comes to give us an understanding and we are to hear His voice.

2 Peter 1:17-21 KJV
(17) For he received from God the Father honour and glory, when there came such a voice to him from the excellent glory, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.
(18) And this voice which came from heaven we heard, when we were with him in the holy mount.

Men speak as they are moved by the Holy Spirit…but the witness of God is within our very hearts as His light shines in the darkness of our vert hearts. Let us rejoice in our hearts towards the hearing of His voice and praise Him.

(19) We have also a more sure word of prophecy; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts:
(20) Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation.
(21) For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.

We must be found walking in the light when the Light is with us. We are to believe in the Light so that we may be the children of Light. If we do not believe, then the darkness comes upon us….as Jesus shall depart and “hide Himself” from those who will not believe. The unbelievers shall not understand….ever learning but never be able to come to the acknowledgement of the Truth.

John 12:35-37 KJV
(35) Then Jesus said unto them, Yet a little while is the light with you. Walk while ye have the light, lest darkness come upon you: for he that walketh in darkness knoweth not whither he goeth.
(36) While ye have light, believe in the light, that ye may be the children of light. These things spake Jesus, and departed, and did hide himself from them.
(37) But though he had done so many miracles before them, yet they believed not on him:

He calls us into His kingdom and glory and we are to be found walking worthy of God. We hear and receive the Word of God in Truth… and not as the word of men who do not know the Scriptures that they are preaching. They wrest the Scriptures to their own destruction as they preach things that they ought (the doctrines and commandments of men) not for money. Their understanding has been darkened as the Bible is sealed from their minds.

1 Thessalonians 2:11-14 KJV
(11) As ye know how we exhorted and comforted and charged every one of you, as a father doth his children,
(12) That ye would walk worthy of God, who hath called you unto his kingdom and glory.
(13) For this cause also thank we God without ceasing, because, when ye received the word of God which ye heard of us, ye received it not as the word of men, but as it is in truth, the word of God, which effectually worketh also in you that believe.

Our own church people will persecute us for believing in what we hear the Spirit saying. We are to remember to always “do well” and not return evil for their evil.

(14) For ye, brethren, became followers of the churches of God which in Judaea are in Christ Jesus: for ye also have suffered like things of your own countrymen, even as they have of the Jews:

As He hears, He judges. He that is unjust, let him be unjust still……

Revelation 22:11-17 KJV
(11) He that is unjust, let him be unjust still: and he which is filthy, let him be filthy still: and he that is righteous, let him be righteous still: and he that is holy, let him be holy still.

His reward is with Him to give every man according as to what his WORK shall be. Faith without good works is dead. Good works (doing His righteousness) completes our faith.

(12) And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be.
(13) I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last.

Blessed are they that DO HIS commandments. It is HIS COMMANDMENTS that we do. We enter in through the gates of praise into that heavenly city….the words of the apostles and the prophets spoken with true meaning in the Spirit. It is a HEARING city and we are built upon their words as we are DOERS of what we hear.

(14) Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.

The wicked shall not understand as they will be outside the understanding of the mysteries of the kingdom. They shall not enter in to understand. They will hear and not believe and will not be found DOING His commandments and will continue to follow after their lusts: preaching the doctrines and commandments of men for pay….deceitfully handling the Word of God…speaking evil of their brothers….coveting after money.

They will love and practice THE lie….thinking that they do these “wonderful works” supposedly in His name (authority) as they “kill” others with evil speaking…judging them as “evil doers” for receiving the Word of Truth.

(15) For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie.
(16) I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, and the bright and morning star.

But those that hear shall be hospitable. They will be inviting to a stranger as they will not be forgetful to entertain strangers and will let brotherly love continue.

(17) And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely.

We must be a DOER of the Word and not hearers only. Every tree that does not bring forth good fruit is hewn down and cast into the fire.

Matthew 7:19-29 KJV
(19) Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.
(20) Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.

We must be a DOER of the will of our Father which is in heaven.

(21) Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.
(22) Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?
(23) And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

We must hear His sayings and DO them….

(24) Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock:
(25) And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock.
(26) And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand:
(27) And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it.
(28) And it came to pass, when Jesus had ended these sayings, the people were astonished at his doctrine:
(29) For he taught them as one having authority, and not as the scribes.

Faith without good works is DEAD being alone.

James 2:17 KJV
(17) Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone.

Good works (doing well…having love for one another) is evidence of our faith. Our faith is made complete (perfect) with our good works.

James 2:20-24 KJV
(20) But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead?
(21) Was not Abraham our father justified by works, when he had offered Isaac his son upon the altar?
(22) Seest thou how faith wrought with his works, and by works was faith made perfect?
(23) And the scripture was fulfilled which saith, Abraham believed God, and it was imputed unto him for righteousness: and he was called the Friend of God.
(24) Ye see then how that by works a man is justified, and not by faith only
.

Again, faith without works is “dead” just as the body without the spirit is dead.

James 2:26 KJV
(26) For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also.

This is the problem with the church in “Sardis”….meaning “red ones”. They are “red” in their wrath against what they hear the Spirit saying.

They have a name that they live but are “dead”….for they have faith but their works are not found “perfect”…that is, complete…before God. They do not produce good fruit towards His words as spoken in the Spirit of Truth. The wrath of man does not WORK the righteousness of God.

Revelation 3:1-6 KJV
(1) And unto the angel of the church in Sardis write; These things saith he that hath the seven Spirits of God, and the seven stars; I know thy works, that thou hast a name that thou livest, and art dead.

They are to be “watchful”…AWAKE….as their WORKS are not found complete before God.

(2) Be watchful, and strengthen the things which remain, that are ready to die: for I have not found thy works perfect before God.

They are counseled to remember and “awake” to His righteousness. We have received the holy commandment of our Lord to have love for one another as He loved us and gave Himself for us. We must REMEMBER to let brotherly love continue.

(3) Remember therefore how thou hast received and heard, and hold fast, and repent. If therefore thou shalt not watch, I will come on thee as a thief, and thou shalt not know what hour I will come upon thee.

We must OVERCOME our wrath and walk with Him in white…..putting on Christ Jesus.

(4) Thou hast a few names even in Sardis which have not defiled their garments; and they shall walk with me in white: for they are worthy.
(5) He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels.
(6) He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.

We must “awake” out of “sleep”…the forgetting to have brotherly love. We must cast off the works of darkness…the wrath, the contentions, the envy, the strife, the covetousness…etc.

Romans 13:10-14 KJV
(10) Love worketh no ill to his neighbour: therefore love is the fulfilling of the law.
(11) And that, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep: for now is our salvation nearer than when we believed.
(12) The night is far spent, the day is at hand: let us therefore cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armour of light.

(13) Let us walk honestly, as in the day; not in rioting and drunkenness, not in chambering and wantonness, not in strife and envying.

We must PUT ON the Lord Jesus Christ and make not provision for acting out according to the flesh. We are to walk with Him in white and not defiling our garments with the flesh.

(14) But put ye on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make not provision for the flesh, to fulfil the lusts thereof.

Men behaving badly (flesh and blood) shall not inherit the kingdom of God which is eternal and not passing away. Corruption shall not inherit incorruption.

1 Corinthians 15:50-58 KJV
(50) Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.
(51) Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed
,

Let us hear the Spirit of Truth and AWAKE to His righteousness…putting on our Lord Jesus Christ.

(52) In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.

We must PUT ON the heavenly man Christ Jesus who is incorruptible and immortal. It is His eternal, incorruptible, immortal life that we shall live in the here and now. The wicked shall not inherit His life and will perish from this earth. The meek shall inherit this earth as we hear His voice and humble ourselves.

(53) For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.

We pass from death unto life by the love of those least brothers of His whom He sends out to speak His words to our ears and hearts. We must PUT Him on so that death is swallowed up in victory….in the here and now and not after we “die and go to heaven”.

(54) So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory.
(55) O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?
(56) The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law.
(57) But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ
.

We must always be abounding in the WORK OF THE LORD. This is His works that we must be doing.

(58) Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.

He begets us again unto a LIVING hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead.

1 Peter 1:3-5 KJV
(3) Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,

He WAS dead but is alive now forever more. He is incorruptible and undefiled and does not fade away. We must put on the heavenly man….our Lord Jesus Christ…so that we have His heavenly, eternal life in this earth. He gives His flesh for the life of the world.

(4) To an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fadeth not away, reserved in heaven for you,
(5) Who are kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.

We must hear and believe and be “baptized”…that is, PUT ON CHRIST as we are baptized in His death….dying to sin. This is NOT about literal water baptism but about putting on Christ at the hearing of His voice.

Mark 16:15-16 KJV
(15) And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.
(16) He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.

This is about hearing the good news preached and believing and putting on Christ (the real “baptism”).

Galatians 3:26-27 KJV
(26) For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus.
(27) For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ
.

We are buried with Him by baptism into His death…..dying to sin...so that we may have His life NOW in this earth.

Romans 6:1-23 KJV
(1) What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound?
(2) God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein?
(3) Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death?
(4) Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.
(5) For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection:

(6) Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin.

He that is “dead” in Christ is freed from sin and if we are dead with Christ, then we believe that we live with Him as well.

(7) For he that is dead is freed from sin.
(8) Now if we be dead with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with him
:

If Christ is truly risen now, then we shall also not die now. Death has no more dominion over us just as it doesn’t over Him.

(9) Knowing that Christ being raised from the dead dieth no more; death hath no more dominion over him.
(10) For in that he died, he died unto sin once: but in that he liveth, he liveth unto God.
(11) Likewise reckon ye also yourselves to be dead indeed unto sin, but alive unto God through Jesus Christ our Lord.
(12) Let not sin therefore reign in your mortal body, that ye should obey it in the lusts thereof.
(13) Neither yield ye your members as instruments of unrighteousness unto sin: but yield yourselves unto God, as those that are alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness unto God
.
(14) For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace.
(15) What then? shall we sin, because we are not under the law, but under grace? God forbid.
(16) Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness?
(17) But God be thanked, that ye were the servants of sin, but ye have obeyed from the heart that form of doctrine which was delivered you.
(18) Being then made free from sin, ye became the servants of righteousness.
(19) I speak after the manner of men because of the infirmity of your flesh: for as ye have yielded your members servants to uncleanness and to iniquity unto iniquity; even so now yield your members servants to righteousness unto holiness.
(20) For when ye were the servants of sin, ye were free from righteousness.

When we served sin by keeping the doctrines and commandments of men by setting aside the commandment to have love for one another(judging others over those commandments of men), then we were bringing forth fruit unto the death of the mortal body. The wages of sin is death but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord whom we hear His voice and die to sins and put Him on so that we may have His eternal life in the here and now.

(21) What fruit had ye then in those things whereof ye are now ashamed? for the end of those things is death.
(22) But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life.
(23) For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord
