OK, I started out as a babysitter (as do most teenage girls) but my first REAL job was working at a drink stand in the middle of the mall. I made snow cones, and smoothies, I can make a mean smoothie. :) Anyways, I had so much fun, but then it closed down. :( Oh Well!

Hi Buzz - Welcome

My first job was waitressing in a family-style restuarant in St. Clair Shores, MI. The boss was a mean lady who wanted to fire me from day one. She just didn't think I could cut it! I stuck it out. The restaurant folded. I ended up, several years later, managing restaurants for Big Boy. I really owe her a hug for being so hard on me. It made me strive to be the best I could be. So, Delores, if you're out there....this is for you

Now, my full time job is to aggrevate my wife and embarress my children. :)

Been there, seen it, done it and we are thinking about going back again.

Once I asked my son to drive us up to Cleveland to the INS office in the big government building. As we were going down on the elevator it was a talking elevator that said "going down". All of a sudden my wife and I started to sing the song: "It's coming down, it's coming down, down, down, down. The Holy Spirit Power is coming down." When we got off the elevator my son turned to me and said: "If you guys embarase me like that again, I am not going to go out in public with you.

Recently something like that happened when we were eating out. There was kinda a wierd person at another table that all of a sudden started to make a lot of strange noises. My dad said he was having a epilepsy seizure. It was really annoying, so all of a sudden I started to sing a song from church. It did make a little bit of difference. He quit making strange sounds and they were not having to hold his arms back anymore. They were getting out a helmet to put on him to transport him. But my son said the same thing. Don't embarase me in public like that.

Actually, I tend to do that if I hear someone swear. I figure if they can use God's name in vain, I can start to hold church. So I will start to worship and praise God and just hold church. They want to get away from me as quick as they can. So as a general rule, people usually are real careful not to use bad words around me.

My first job was at a car wash in the middle of winter. We had to stand outside and dry the cars off. That was when I was 15 before I was old enough to drive so we had to walk back and forth to work. I think there were three of us who went there to work of my friends I use to run with.

My second job was as a bus boy clearing the tables off. I was born at the end of the baby boom, so jobs were kinda hard to come by back then. You just sorta had to take what you could get.

My first job was as a bus monitor, then I worked for a temp agency for about 2 months but quit because I wasn't getting enough jobs. Now I work third shift at walmart, I've been there for almost three years and love it.
